These articles will be published every Monday, and will talk about my favorite map of the pervious week. I’ll admit this in an instance; I love Team Fortress 2 (for the PC, the 360 version was a bit inferior). I never playeded a PC game that has me so addicted to it. So, you can imagine how happy I was when Valve realesed a brand new map in their update for the game called Badlands. Badlands is styled like an old-western town filled with control points. There’s a lot of buildings in the map, so it’s quite easy for defensive classes like Engineers or Demomen to take advantage of the map. But you know what has me totally amazed with the map? The middle control point is on a spiral plateau, which means a lot of action will take place just to control that little spot. Well, I guess I wasn’t the only one who was impressed by the game. Apparently, Bethesda’s level designer, Daryl Bringer, has convinced Bethesada to work on bonus maps for Portal. From reading some comments about the map, it sounds extremely difficult. To try it yourself, then visit TWHL.com. To download the map, simply download it and then unzip the files into the ‘maps’ folder where you’ve installed Portal. Once you enter the game, click the ‘Bonus Maps’ tab, and maps/RenTests’ should appear- this is where you’ll find the maps you’ve just downloaded. Share This
