Mohammad Asif is going to miss the first three ODI against India and most likely the whole ODI series. There are very less chances of him playing in the test series too. He has got an elbow injury and most likely he will take much more time to recover.Asif missed the ODI series against South Africa due to this reason. Mohammad Asif has already troubled Indian batsmen a lot of time from the test match in Karachi till the world twenty20 2007. After the ban of Shahid Afridi for first two matches of the World Cup and the injury of the star all-rounder Abdul Razzaq its now the main bowlers Shoaib Akthar and Mohammad Asif who will not be playing in the World Cup. Both of them are injured and should miss the World Cup. In their place two fast bowlers Mohammad Sami and Yasir Arfat are called in the team.
