The problem with the PC Left is they have no sense of humor. Most humor is sexist, racist or just plain cruel in some way or another. PC humor is pretty much an oxymoron. In the spirit of offending everyone without getting this blog a content warning, check out some great motivating posters. There's something here to offend just about everyone. From the Pirate 4X4 ORV Forum, a lot of Photoshop work in the spirit of motivational posters. Having A Goal
2008-07-21 17:40:00
I am sure that at some point of your life, you are bound to encounter things that you hate doing but absolutely must complete? Does it not bother you on occasions like these that you are not able to do the things that you have to? For me, working out, studying and handling my site had always been a chore for me, even more so after i implement my daily conditioning program into my life. However, as i grow and mature, i began to seriously enjoy what i am doing now, maybe because i have a goal now, seeing beyond the initial pain and realising that i can achieve something more if i start working instead of procrastinating and dragging my work to the last minute. My goals have change me to be someone i am usually not, giving me motivation, strength and energy. For example, my daily conditioning program though painful and excruciating, a bit extreme but you get my point, i was able to endure it and after the whole 30 minutes everyday, taking a cold shower, i feel totally refreshed! At firs...

Daily Conditioning
2008-07-17 14:15:00
Today, i will talk about a recent activity i have integrated into my lifestyle. This conditioning as you have seen from the title above, is done daily without fail. I really believe that to keep an optimum active level of alertness and passion in life, you have to be strong, not in the thick bulky muscles you see from body builders, but strong in the conventional sense of keeping yourself healthy by doing certain exercises. This conditioning dose not have to be long as for me, my conditioning only take up about thirty minutes of my time everyday. If i can spend thirty minutes lesser sleeping but instead switch it to improving myself to prepare myself at the maximum for a new day, i am sure that i will enjoy the joy of the day much more better. My daily conditioning is done in three sets, and the purpose of the exercise is to stretch the muscles of the arms, the body and the legs, the core parts of a human body. The final goals of my exercise is to build resistance against fatigue and...
Schilling blasts Kobe's motivational techniques in blog
2008-06-11 13:09:00
Los Angeles Lakers coach Phil Jackson doesn't have a problem with the way Kobe Bryant tries to motivate his teammates, even if Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling does. Never shy about sharing his opinions, Schilling threw a brushback pitch at Bryant on his 38pitches.com blog Monday, the day after the Boston Celtics took a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals with a 108-102 victory at TD Banknorth Garden, saying he was stunned by how Bryant interacted with his teammates. Schilling had a front-row seat, right next to the Lakers bench, for Game 2, and he turned it into a pulpit, detailing how Bryant sulked and stalked through the loss. "I don't really have an opinion one way or the other on or about him other than to know that people feel he might be one of the 4-5 greatest players to ever lace it up," wrote Schilling. "What I do know is what I got to see up close and hear, was unexpected. From the first tip until about 4 minutes left in the game I saw and heard this guy [complain] at his teammate...

Finally he put in a call to God and when God got back to him, he asked "God, why do women cry so easily? "GOD answered......"When I made woman,I decided she had to be special. I made her shouldersstrong enough to carrythe weight of the world, yet, made her arms gentle enough to give comfort...I gave her the inner strengthto endure childbirthand the rejection that many times will comeeven from her own children.I gave her a hardnessthat allows herto keep going and take careof her family and friends, even when everyone else gives up, through sickness and fatigue withoutcomplaining....I ...

The Last Lecture (Hardcover)
2008-04-12 14:53:00
"We cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand."--Randy PauschA lot of professors give talks titled "The Last Lecture." Professors are asked to consider their demise and to ruminate on what matters most to them. And while they speak, audiences can't help but mull the same question: What wisdom would we impart to the world if we knew it was our last chance? If we had to vanish tomorrow, what would we want as our legacy? When Randy Pausch, a computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon, was asked to give such a lecture, he didn't have to imagine it as his last, since he had recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer. But the lecture he gave--"Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams"--wasn't about dying. It was about the importance of overcoming obstacles, of enabling the dreams of others, of seizing every moment (because "time is all you have...and you may find one day that you have less than you think"). It was a summation of everything Randy had come to beli...
