A lenticular cloud is what happens when Mother Nature decides to "exhale" from a mountain top. Think of it as the cloud version of a smoke ring, except these come from condensed moist air, not your tobacco (or ingredient of preference) pipe. Some of the more famous occurences of this phenomenon have taken place atop renown mountains like Fuji and Shasta. Take a look at these to see exactly what we mean:

You might know that there was a heart shaped Lake in Chin State of Myanmar called Rih Dil (Heart Lake). But, there is another heart shaped mountain can be seen in Sagaing Division (22°11'15.94"N, 94°59'3.02"E) through Google Earth and it is more alike heart than Rih. It is 10.5 miles away from North-West of Monywa and 8 miles away from 30 degree North-East of Yin Mar Bin, Sagaing Division, Myanmar.???????????? ??????????? Wake up to Green Mountain (GMCR)
2009-08-25 14:00:00
"Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (NASDAQ: GMCR) recently reported an outstanding second quarter," notes growth stock expert Michael Cintolo. In The Cabot Market Letter, he suggests, "The company -- which sells coffee and single-cup brewers -- has as big a mass market story as we’ve ever seen." Here's the advisor's review."Initially after the earnings report, the stock fell following its report, supposedly because revenue growth was light. But we think focusing on that detail misses the big picture. "First, revenue growth is still accelerating; the second quarter’s rose 61% from a year ago, compared to 60%, 56% and 45% growth the prior three quarters. "Over the past 12 quarters, sales growth has averaged 56%!)  And because of the high-margin sales of K-Cups, profi t margins surged—7.4% last quarter, compared to 6.0% in the second quarter of 2008, an improvement of 23%. "But it’s not just a...

I love movies about aliens.  There is usually adventure and intrigue and very often some great explosions.  But these films also help us to confront the questions about what it means to be human and what exactly it is that sets us apart.  Is there something about us that makes us worth saving?  Those are ...

Congratulations to Brad Longerbone from MN, he was the highest scoring member of my Bassin' Blog group for ESPN Fantasy Fishing at the Smith Mtn Lake event.  He also won my FLW group, but received a nice Berkley Prize Pack for his efforts, so someone else will win this group prize.  What a solif Fantasy Fishing week for Brad!!!  Brad had a nice event and slid up to 3rd in the group standings, lets see if he can keep it going and catch our leader J Mayer.Brief email interview with Brad and this is what he had to say on his strategy:"I just got lucky, its the same lineup I set for the Bassmasters Classic on the Red River"  Who would have thought that the team picked for the Red River would win on Smith Mountain? His winning team was:Todd FairclothKevin VanDamSteve KennedyGreg HackneyMatt HerrenFor Brad's efforts, he has won a bag of Tru-Tungsten finesse worms, should be great for catching our clear water bass!!  Thanks to&nb...
Setting an ESPN Fantasy Fishing Line-up for Smith Mountain Lake
2009-04-23 19:14:00
Happy Earth Day!Smith Mountain Lake may be one of the toughest to pick all year.  Clear deep water lake, with lots of pressure and boat traffic on the weekends.  All indications say that sight fishing and finesse will be the ticket, but its been a little cool lately, so maybe some angler can get on a wad of big females in a pre-spawn stage. The local talent pool is thing for this lake, few anglers from Virgina, John Crews is probably the closest to calling it his home lake. After Smith mountain, you should probably be prepared to settle into a little groove with your roster on the next two TVA lakes. Here are a few guys that I think would be solid picks that are not on my team.  Ike, Kriet, John Murray &  Mark Davis.  The breakdown on my team is as follows:KVD - He will likely be on my team all year, he should be near dominate on these TVA lakes, can't give him up just because this may not be the best fit.Matt Herren - For the money probably on m...

2009-03-10 18:36:00

Mountain Might
2009-02-02 08:02:00
Pakistan Urdu Science Board textbook defines earth surface ?13000 feet above sea level as mountains. Areas that are 9840 feet above their surroundings are also mountainous.? Much more than travel, recreation and adventurous destinations, mountains are natural resource reservoirs that help to sustain life on the planet earth. Nature has blessed our country with rich mountain terrain.Nowhere in the world is concentration of high mountains, peaks, glaciers, clean water lacks (full of trout and romantic legend attached to them) and passes except in Pakistan. Of the 14 over 8,000 meters high peaks on our earth planet, four occupy an amphitheatre at the head of Baltoro glacier in the Karakorum Range: K-2 (this year Pakistan is celebrating fiftieth anniversary when man first conquered the world?s second highest - 8,611 meters ? peak half century ago), Gasherbrum-I (8,068 meters), Broad Peak (8,047 meters) and Gasherbrum-II (8,035 meters). There is yet another great mountain, Nanga Parbat (...

As his top pick for 2009, he looks to the maker of specialty coffees and single-cup home brewing systems."There is no question that any company whose growth depends on selling goods to the US consumer, especially non-essential goods, would seem risky at the present moment."But stock prices for most retail companies are already down in the dumps and reflect significantly reduced expectations."We've been looking for growth companies that won't be as badly affected as many folks believe. Teeth Mountain
2008-12-18 18:10:00
You've heard this one before: A group of young (and more than likely college-educated) white people get together, pile instruments in a heap, and share a one-track mind to home, sweet, Om. Teeth Mountain's mixed-bag lineup doesn't re-invent the drum circle, but its members--listed as Andrew Burt, Andrew Bernstein, Greg Fox, Greg St. Pierre, Max Eisenberg, Max Eilbacher, Kate Levitt, Grace Bedwell, and Owen Gardner here, not all of whom played on the recording--do it with a sincere appreciation for the woollier end of late-'60s radicalism. Think long-robed cults coming for your children or, better yet, of the original incarnation of Amon Duul, the German commune qua free-drone ensemble that spit out five glorious percussion-heavy records before some members split off and formed Amon Duul II, a much more commercially successful group that kowtowed to the man by having, you know, actual songs.Right now Teeth Mountain hasn't drunk such careerist Kool-Aid yet, and this LP bristles w...

RaiDue censura Brokeback Mountain: fascismo omofobo nella tv di Stato? di Giuseppe Iannozzi RaiDue ha censurato Brokeback Mountain.
