Dopo aver dato alcuni trucchetti con questa guida per evitare l'eccessivo spreco di RAM e soprattutto ottimizzarlo nel campo delle performance, oggi voglio proporvi un altro metodo per velocizzare il nostro firefox in Linux, e più specificatamente in Ubuntu.In primis apriamo firefox, scriviamo nell'URL about:config, e creiamo la stringa di tipo "intero" e denominiamola nglayout.initialpaint.delay impostando il suo valore a 0. Apriamo ora il Terminale (Applicazioni -> Accessori -> Terminale) e diamo sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/aliases (al posto di gedit possiamo inserire il nostro editor di scrittura preferito, con Kubuntu ad esempio possiamo inserire kate) e cerchiamo la stringa alias net-pf-10 ipv6, da sostituire con alias net-pf-10 ipv6 off alias net-pf-10 off alias ipv6 off.
