The second was in a small inn in Thailand, pressured by locals I fell victim to tourist thinking - if I don’t eat this I’m not getting the full experience and if I don’t eat it I’ll regret it for the rest of my life because this is not available at the corner bodega. I was pretty sure it was rotten by the horrible smell but I didn’t want to be rude, once I ate it I remembered that slimy texture and I involuntarily gagged and regurgitated some of it.
