American Muslims Name School after Islamic Conqueror of Spain
2008-06-23 20:59:00
About a month ago or so, a scandal broke out into the media sphere and the blogosphere in the USA about a Muslim charter school in Minnesota. The school was controlled by Muslim private persons, yet it received substantial public funding. The scandal arose from violations by the school of the conditions of its receiving public funding. The scandal intensified when non-Muslim journalists were attacked on school premises when trying to investigate the charges. This school was/is called the Tariq ibn Ziyad Academy. The major question that has not been asked by most media --MSM or blogs-- reporting on this affair is just who is this Tariq fellow. The answer to that question would tell us with whom these American Muslims identify. Here are accounts of Tariq by respected historians Bernard Lewis & Carl Brockelmann:It was in Spain that the Arabs achieved their greatest and most enduring conquest in Europe. . . Tariq, a Berber freedman [that is, a former slave] of Musa ibn Nusair, the Ar...
Muslims in France
2008-06-22 05:06:00
Clearly, the North African, mostly-Caucasian Muslims in France (primarily Algerians) have been a disaster. They are the ones that are rioting all the time and tearing up the country. Contrary to popular rumor, the N African Muslim population in France is ~10%, not 20%,. The Black population is not known, but surely it is much smaller than the 10% North African population. The North Africans are there primarily due to French colonialism and imperialism. Algeria was a former French colony, brutally ruled by France for 134 years, from 1830 to 1964.The Algerians fought a horribly brutal war of independence, in which 25,000 French and 1 million Algerians were killed. Incredibly, the anti-Communist Right in the US still sings the praises of French colonialism in this war, and makes the revolutionaries out to be the bad guys. It's true that the French revolutionaries did not fight a very nice or pretty war. Yet they paid for it with 40 times the casualties of the French. To the dead person,...

Muslims plan Gaelic translation of Koran
2008-06-08 18:21:00
The move drew a frosty response from the main Gaelic church in the Western Isles. Rev Iver Martin, the minister of Stornoway Free Church, said: "I wouldn't have thought there would be much of a market for this. I'm not sure that a lot of Gaelic-speaking people would be inclined to read it. Of course, Muslims have the freedom to do what they want, but it's worth pointing out that in many Muslim countries, Christians do not have the freedom to freely read the Bible."

What stupid Muslims should know about safe sex and the use of condoms?
2008-06-02 10:00:00
Malaysia is really a very sick country, a very sick country for good practicing Muslims. :-(Good Muslims are not at all happy with the latest development in Malaysia where we have the Health Ministry and some stupid women?s rights groups (one of them is better known as Munafiqs in Islam by some good Muslims) promoting and encouraging the use of condoms and safe sex for Malaysians.Let me get this straight for those crazy and stupid Muslims; in Islam, there is no such thing as safe sex. Safe sex was probably coined by some idiots back in the western world to hide the awful fact that they have committed adulteries (Zina)! To all ignorant and stupid Muslims out there, please refer to the following Fatwa issued on the 26th of February 2002 by IslamWeb Dot Net:Question:I assume that it is still considered from the Kaba'ir for a man to commit Zina by having sex with a woman even if he's wearing a condom, correct?Fatwa:Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and may His blessings and pe...

MalaysiaKini, the non-Muslims are no experts in Islam!
2008-05-27 09:00:00
I like MalaysiaKini a lot but there is one thing about them that I and many other Muslims really hate, their tendency to let non-Muslims voice their opinions on matters that should be left to Muslims to address alone.Take a look at this stupid comment left by PT Tan; he is probably a smart-ass non-Muslim who thinks that he has the authority to speak in matters concerning Muslims here in Malaysia:PT Tan: All those calling for thicker material for school uniforms are just generating a lot of not air without understanding the dynamics of our climate. Merely aping the Arab way of life, where clothes are used to insulate the body from the harsh 42 deg C plus heat (versus our body?s 37 deg C) serves a purpose. Our average temperature of 31 deg C needs cotton cloth to allow ventilation of body heat so that students don?t get a heat stroke. The pinafore as it is, is already too warm. To call for thicker cloth will disastrously wrap our poor students in a heat trap, especially with classes of...

Persatuan Kebangsaan Pelajar Islam Malaysia (PKPIM) was right to say that there is something very wrong with current uniform of Malaysian schoolgirls. However, I?m glad that PAS women?s wing is standing up to defend the issues raised by PKPIM.Well done, PAS!To all stupid, blind and ignorant Muslims out there, please refer to the following collection of Fatwas issued by IslamWeb Dot Net on matters related with women?s clothes and adornments. In the meantime, please ponder upon the selected Fatwa issued on the 21st of August 2001:Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. It is obligatory on a Muslim woman to cover her Awrah .
