MY BOYS: Why You Should Watch

The TBS show MY BOYS may have ended its second season this past Thursday, but that shouldn’t stop you from tuning in to reruns in the meantime. This TBS original sitcom is the first critically acclaimed cable network show since the debut of USA’s MONK. Ok, maybe not. I know you’ve recently been preoccupied with figuring out how singer Katy Perry gets away with such a salaciously catchy song like “I Kissed a Girl” [admit it you like it] or maybe you’re fascinated by how Michael Phelps manages to keep that little Speedo on. 2008-06-09 14:56:00 I’ve gotten to see the first two episodes of this season of MY BOYS and I cannot wait for more. They’re whip smart, fast paced, great episodes and so welcome in the few weeks where we’re hurting for something good and new to come on the scene. I couldn’t focus on emptying my suitcases, because all I cared about was what I was watching. Yes, I do know who PJ asked to Italy, and no I’m not telling you or discussing it until you’ve seen the half hour for yourself. Just tune in, and trust me when I tell you that there is so much going on in these first few episodes, Italy is just the tip of the giant iceberg! 2007-10-02 04:11:00 Congrats to Jared Boll and Kris Russell who have made it into the big show. According to Aaron Portzline they will be in the line-up Friday night for opening night. I am excited beyond belief for these guys. While, I haven't been able to make it up for any of the camps or watch any of the pre-season games I have heard nothing but amazing things about them. While neither of them is a top line center (Russell is defense and Boll is a winger) I feel their contributions will be just what we need. Portzline also has the opening night line ups...well what he thinks they're going to be. I have been waiting for the fall schedule to come, but now thats come and some have already gone, its now almost January and a couple of new and returning shows have caught my eye, to be pacific, the shows "my boys on TBS", "The Apprentice from LA" and "Beauty and the Geek" all are here.My boys on TBS aired last night, I didn't see any advertisements on TBS about this show, I saw the ad on MySpace while I was surfing a couple of my friends and fansite profiles. What about the pilot and second episode last night...I enjoyed it, It was funny. If you think about it, alot of people could relate to this show. This show reminds me of high school, I liked to hang out with a group of girls rather than hanging with the guys. Now I have only read one or two reviews on the a show and they were said that the show was good. I am waiting to see about the newpapers and TV Squad have to say about this show.One show ... |
