2007-10-05 05:49:00 This last week has been…… difficult. A week ago my doctor changed all of my meds at once, off one, cut doses of three others by a lot and onto another. I guess I could say my experiences from the last 8 years really helped me get through this last week. The two days after the change was like coming off of street drugs with withdrawls and everything (which was essentually what was going on as I was coming down from very high doses) That was last weekend. Then, the mental fallout happened while everything stableized in my system which left me suicidal for two days. Two days of my mind telling me why I should die and how to do it….. Been through it many times and I knew I just don’t act on the crazy throughts going on, I knew it was from the massive med change and as my mind was going to the darkest reaches that it could go I knew I had to keep going or all I worked for would be lost. See, I have a good job now ... |
