I have begun to wonder if this has become my permanent duty station. Perhaps I can serve out the duration of my four year contract right here in airborne hold on Sand Hill?I sure hope not!I am guaranteed a slot this Friday to ship. Although I will be shipping from airborne hold on Sand Hill, I am hearing through the grapevine that I may get stuck in airborne hold over at the actual airborne school for another week. 2007-05-26 14:56:00 This is a spectacular sauce. The depth of flavour in this sauce is exceptional, if I do say so myself. This recipe makes a very large pot full, great for the large family or dinner party, or pop half of it in the freezer for another day. Sunday Gravy really isn't a gravy, it's an Italian slow cooked tomato and meat sauce. You choose the meat you want to use. I have used lamb in this one, but sometimes I make it with pork and beef, sometimes just beef. This definitely is a weekend dish. You pop on a low heat for about 4 to 5 hours. Time is the key to this recipe and the key to having a sensationally rich sauce and simply tender meat. So give it a go and enjoy. Sorry it took so long to finally post it. It is always gone before I know it and it is extremely fattening, which I love and goes great with a latte. I hope you enjoy as much as my friends and family do? So Easy :) 4 Mars Bars ( I like the king size because I am a chocoholic) sliced into pieces.1 Tin Condensed Milk1 Packet of Chocolate backed Scotch Fingers ( I use home brand, makes no difference)100 grams melted Butter300 grams melting Choc Buds ( dark for the adults)Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Crush biscuits and then add melted butter, press into a slice tin. Arrange Mars Bar pieces on top of biscuit base. Pour over evenly tin of condensed milk. Do not lick the lid OK. I know it is tempting but it is really dangerous for your tongue. Trust me, I know. Bake in the oven for 25 to 30 Min's, until golden and bubbly. Allow to cool and refrigerate. Then melt the choc buds in the microwave on a medium setting ( 450 watts) Allo...

Our pasty chef, Amy, had just poached some pears, and she suggested I use the liquid to make a sauce for the foie gras with it.
