Spencer Tunick the infamous photographer of masses of nude people arranged in artistic splendor, has just completed his installation in Mexico City, May 6. The largest turnout in the history of his en masse nude photography projects?the next largest turnout for one of his shoots was 7,000?a giganormous 18,000 volunteers stripped bare in the historic Zocalo Plaza and arranged themselves as he directed. The three positions for this sitting were giving a salute, lying in a fetal position, and lying prone. Tunick uses the vast swaths of human flesh as a mosaic, and the individuals in his photos are asexual but not merely decorative.
