Sega also plans to close around 100 of its arcades.The reason? "A lot of the types of games that people played at an arcade can now be done at home," said Namco Bandai spokesman Yuji Machida. He believes pocket money that was once spent in public gaming centers is now being spent on Wii software and hardware like Wii Fit with its balance board.Wii wasn't the only factor blamed for fewer arcades, however.
