2007-08-14 16:00:00 The only way I've been able to keep my boys at the piano is by catering to their musical interests. We've been through "Take Me out to the Ball Game," "This Land Is Your Land," Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark and now these two mystery pieces that I've heard so often I'm humming them in my sleep. 2006-11-01 22:06:01 Last night we played one of our favorite family games. Name That Tune has become a family pasttime around our house. We are all music lovers and listen to tunes quite often. Brad is always the “host”. He sits with his laptop and goes through his iTunes list, or sometimes YouTube videos and randomly picks out songs to play snippets from. Since Brad and I grew up in the 80s, our songs typically have an 80s theme to them. But just for fun he also throws in current hit songs as well. We are required to name the song title and the artist who sang it. Sometimes he will give us a clue. If the song was featured in a movie, we also have to name the movie it was from. Ashley is quite good at this game. There are many songs she can name with just a note or two played. It goes to show that she is somewhat of a music brainiac.
