Most ManUtd fans that i have spoken to since yesterday are saying that Fergie got his team selection wrong but is that really the case?The team that started yesterday was:Van Der Sar, Brown, Vidic, Ferdinand, Silvestre, Fletcher,Carrick, Anderson, Nani, Giggs and Rooney.Now is this really a weak team? Yes there is not Tevez, Ronaldo and Evra but that team was perfectly capable of getting a result against Chelsea. I have had many people asking me if Nani is injured or not, well i can tell you that he is injured.Nani currently has a Thigh Muscle Strain but he should return on the 19th April which is the same day as the Blackburn game (saturday 17:15KO).There are 3 other injuries for United:Vidic is still injured with a knee injury, he is expected to return on the 26th April which is the Chelsea match but there have been rumours that he will be fit enough to play in the away game at Blackburn on the 19th April.Fletcher is also out with a knee injury, he will be out for longer and is expected to return on the 11th May which is basically the rest of the season.Saha who is a regular to the injury list has a hamstring injury and we dont have a clue when he will return.That is all of United's current injuries that i know ofMan United Devils is a blog which is updated everyday. According to several sources Brescia general manager Gianluca Nani has confirmed that he will be the new sporting director of West Ham United. Speaking in a news conference this afternoon, the Italian informed the media that he would be taking up his appointment at the end of the season. He is quoted as saying: "From June I will take over my new position with West Ham. I have conducted the negotiations in person but in the full co-operation of Brescia chairman [Luigi] Corioni, who I must thank along with his family. United's Best Midfield?

You can pretty much guess what Manchester United's best team is except for the midfield. Van Der Sar is in goal. The defence is Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic and Evra with Rooney and Tevez upfront. But what about the midfield? There is so much talent to pick from, the only player i would say is guarnteed a place is Ronaldo. So who are the other three? ~ The choices are: Ronaldo, Nani, Anderson, Giggs, Carrick, Scholes, Fletcher, Park and Eagles. ~ Giggs and Scholes are getting older but they still have a massive part to play in the United team. Nani and Anderson joined United in the summer and they have surprised me how quickly they have settled down into the team. Fletcher hasnt played much so far this season but when he has come in, he has played extremly well. Everyone knows about Ronaldo, he in my opinion is currently the best player in the world. For me, Park isnt good enough, he is a good player but i dont think he can play a big part, but i would love it if he could prove me wrong...

Since the United's 4-0 thrashing of Arsenal, Nani has been in the headlines, not for his goal but for his apparent showboating. Nani started to do lots of little tricks which the Arsenal players didn't like at all, so they started hacking at him, one of the worst was Gallas. To be Nani was slightly showboating but he had Arsenal players around him and if the ball touched the ground then he would have been tackled so he kept it off the ground and he wasnt tackled. If it was the other way round and an Arsenal player did that then i really do think that i wouldnt get wound up by it, yes i no, it is easier to say that now but it was good to watch and he also kept the ball in United's posession.
