Hopi and Navajo Truth Confirmed in Censored Climate Report
2008-06-03 14:06:00 by Brenda Norrell With the release of the US censored climate report — that Bush and his corporate handlers censored for four years — the words of the late Hopi spiritual leaders are mirrored forth. Hopi Sinom, including Thomas Banyacya and Dan Evehema, foretold of a time when hurricanes, storms and wildfires would seize the planet if human beings did not care for Mother Earth. They also warned if the secret agenda of coal mining was carried out on Black Mesa, under the guise of the so-called Navajo Hopi land dispute and Navajos were relocated, that natural calamities would increase. Just a few days ago in the Navajos' Chuska Mountains, I was listening to a traditional Navajo farmer talk about how dry the earth is. Looking at the dry pinon trees and dusty earth, she said it would be hard to get the corn and squash to grow this summer. The earth is so dry that it does not absorb water like it used to. Every year it gets worse. The U.S. censored climate repor...

Bahe Katenay of Big Mountain: US orchestrated so-called Navajo Hopi Land Di
2008-03-31 22:33:00 by Brenda Norrell The so-called “Navajo Hopi Land Dispute” was a scenario orchestrated by the United States, Congressmen and the Navajo and Hopi tribal governments, which do not represent their people, said Bahe Katenay, Navajo from Big Mountain on the Navajo Nation, during an interview on the Longest Walk. “The tribal governments are basically a board of directors. They are not a sovereign assembly. The Navajo government does not represent the Navajo Nation and the Hopi government does not represent the Hopi Nation.” Katenay, one of the original Long Walkers in 1978 joined the Longest Walk 2 Northern Route in Pueblo, and described the orchestrated scenario and the so-called “Navajo Hopi Land Dispute,” which grew out of the Indian Land Claims Commission. Katenay told how a Mormon attorney for Peabody Coal, John Boyden, came to Hopi country and attempted to form a Hopi Tribal Council for the purpose of seizing leases for coal mining. “It failed each time because the...

Navajo Jewelry Artists
2007-10-27 16:20:00 The Navajo Native Americans are well known for their beautiful jewelry, which today consists largely of silver, but sometimes copper and brass. The Navajo were a fairly nomadic tribe before making their home in the American Southwest. Once settled, the younger Navajo began learning the art of designing their unique jewelry from their elders. The Navajo were in constant contact, some hostile, some friendly, with the Spanish as they continued to populate the Southwest from the late 16th century on. From them, they developed a great appreciation for personal adornment and working with silver. 2007-07-20 14:23:00 Author: Eric Subject: Ministry Shares Need for Navajo Nation OutreachPosted: Fri Jul 20, 2007 8:23 am (GMT -4) Ministry Shares Need for Navajo Nation Outreach USA (MNN) -- The estimated native American Indian population in the United States is 1.7 million. A small percentage of American Indians have heard the message of Christ, and fewer still have given their hearts to Christ. That's what compelled Bible Pathway Ministries to respond to a plea for help from "Widow's Mite Mission." The small agency is working on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona, but they didn't have funds enough for evangelism and discipleship resources. They turned to Bible Pathway, and the team responded by assembling a shipment. About the time they finished putting it together, postage and shipping rates increased. That means BPM has been unable to send the pallets (approximately one-thousand pounds) because the shipping costs have tripled. Bible Pathway's Al Joslyn says they're tu...
