I?ve posted a few times about our batshit crazy neighbors. Recently Mr. Honeybell and I were outside being obnoxious, so I warned him ?You know, we are probably creating blog fodder for someone else right now!? To save them the trouble, I've come up with some potential titles: · Does that woman never get dressed? I spend the majority of my life in my pajamas. Working night shift for 18 years will do that to you. Just imagine what you look like at 2 am, only you haven?t the sense to stay in bed. Or in the house for that matter. Poor Monkey Boy has started equating getting dressed with going bye bye. Because that's when we change out of our PJ's. All those people do is sit on their porch and smoke! ~Or~ They look like hookers! We don?t smoke in our house. Unusual question from one of my neighbors

I was talking to one of my neighbors today (they know we own a second property in the neighborhood). Anywho, they rent, and according to her, have been in the house 2 years now. They got the standard "intent to renew" and it was for the same rent amount as this past year. I saw the form, it's pretty standard and the amount they are currently paying is fair (if not slightly high) for the neighborhood.Well, apparently they turned in the form and a few days later received a call from their landlord. Now the landlord wants to increase the rent $100 per month for the next year (keep in mind the landlord has not signed the agreement yet, only the tenants). She asked if they could legally do that. I told her I thought they could (though morally I think it is wrong), but I wasn't 100% positive.So I thought I would ask all of you! I've never heard of something like this happening before, but I'm sure someone here has experience with it. Thanks!

Directly behind our house is a beautiful little creek. While it's rare for it to get high, there is always the question in the back of our mind about whether or not it will rise above the shoreline. While we find it to be a nice touch to the house, the creek ended up being a sensitive topic for our neighbors while they were trying to sell their house. Basically, they had to convince the potential buyers that the creek would their house. In other words, it rarely gets very high. Saturday afternoon I was on my way home when the bottom dropped out of the sky. Literally pouring down rain. I have had complaints from neighbor, lot of traffic in and out of house late into night during week, police called twice, people sitting in cars for short periods, people being "dropped" off, loud music, sexual favors seen by neighbors being performed by tenant's company. I'm having major problems with my neighbor upstairs. She has a 2 year old and a 10 month old learning to walk. The 2 year old constantly is running and jumping and the mother stomps when she walks. I can hear every friggin step she takes!! On top of that, she slams doors, cupboard doors and sounds like she drops bowling balls on the floor from time to time!! I have made multiple complaints to management and had security sit in my apartment a couple times to listen so he could log it in the books. Still nothing! The only response I get from management is "We can't do anything about them walking hard." Noise is noise as far as I'm concerned and shouldn't be treated any different than loud music. I'm looking for someone or something that can tell me what I need to do to square this away. Any help will be appreciated!!
