Every Saturday morning I would wake up, usually after having a sleepover with my best friend at the time, Carl, and I would watch FOX Kids Saturday morning cartoons. There were some good ones, but my favorite was always the X-Men cartoon show. Not too long ago, the WB attempted to resurrect an X-Men cartoon with 'X-Men: Evolution'. I don't even know if it survived to the second season, but suffice it to say, the show got canceled. Well Marvel is giving it another get-go, with "Wolverine and the X-Men". By the looks of the trailer below, it appears to be aimed at the new generation of X-Men fans, showing team rosters and story lines typically found in Astonishing X-Men and New X-Men. 2008-03-06 19:10:00 For the longest time my MP3 Player was an iPod which, in all appreciation for how it changed the portable media market, is vastly inferior to some of the lesser known Portable Media Players to come out in recent years. The most significant, in my opinion, being the Cowon A3--the perfect portable media player for an anime lover such as myself. Why you ask? Format support--this thing can play just about -anything-. It can play H264 (unforunately it doesn't yet support Main Profile) and XviD and most importantly; supports all sorts of container formats like OGM and MKV (Matroska Video). What does that all mean? Well, I'll let you put two and two together; more than half of fansubbed anime is released in H264 format in an MKV container. Until now those have been unplayable on any form of portable media! That's just the beginning of the A3's awesomeness!

We may have actually advertised that it was "coming soon" -- this is one of the first times I've ever wished I kept my back issues of MRR, so that I could check the ads.Soulfish was Daron's band -- he sang, with Luke on guitar, Steve on bass, and Dave (Groundwork's guitarist) on drums. 2008-02-07 08:52:00 It was an average fall day, grey from clouds, but not dark (which would indicate it was an average fall night) and I had ventured out on a routine mission; drive to the nearest K-mart, purchase a 12-pack of toilet paper (squeezably-soft not a priority) and some light bulbs. I spot my parking space from across the aisle and burn rubber to get to it with little regard for whatever human life that might be in my path. I'm 10 yards away, home free, when out of nowhere this huge honkermobile comes barreling in, right in front of me and wedges his big fat ass right into my spot.Okay, I'm pissed and I'm ready to fight. I hop out of my car and I'm jumping mad... er something like that. Anyway, I make a bee line for the drivers side door, rip it open and huh? Nobody home!
