El común de la gente usa el término para referirse a una persona que reacciona en forma exagerada a algunos estímulos, a quien le cuesta relajarse o tomarse las cosas con más calma. 2007-11-27 04:55:00 Neurosis, banda de thrash metal conformada en Bogotá D.C. en 1987 por Jorge Mackenzie (guitarrista y compositor) se constituye hoy en día en una de las bandas más representativas del metal colombiano. En un principio comenzaron tocando covers de otras bandas tales como Slayer, Venom, Destruction, Kreator y Exodus. Los primeros conciertos se realizaron en Bogotá a partir de enero de 1988. Luego la banda comenzó a componer sus propias canciones que posteriormente se grabarían (mayo de 1991) en su primer y único demo titulado "Más Allá de la Demencia". Este demo contiene 10 canciones en español y se vendieron 1.000 copias de su versión original. Este trabajo fue reeditado en diciembre de 1997 por el sello NEURO MUSIC con un diseño de carátula mejorado pero conservando la carátula original. En estos primeros años la banda solo tocó en conciertos en la capital. Reeditado en CD + 4 Bonus Tracks (2005) por South American Records. ...

2007-10-28 03:34:00 A comienzos de 2005 Neurosis firma contrato con el sello colombiano "Hateworks" quienes editan "Subversivos Espirituales" y el cual fue además masterizado en los reconocidos estudios "Morrisound" en Tampa, Florida, Estados Unidos por Tom Morris. También con el objetivo de promocionar "Subversivos Espirituales", Neurosis graba un tercer video oficial del tema "Se Tú Mismo" que viene incluido como multimedia en este CD. Desafortunadamente el 17 de Junio de 2005 fallece Hamilton Castro (batería) en un absurdo intento de robo. Este es un gran golpe para Neurosis, por todo lo que el representaba para la banda y también como persona y músico. Hamilton había ingresado a Neurosis en enero de 1999, su gran calidad como músico ha quedado plasmada en las baterías que el grabó para el CD "Subversivos Espirituales". 2007-10-17 21:54:00 Para 1998 Neurosis Inc. planeó grabar un CD en vivo con canciones de todos sus trabajos anteriores. Este concierto se llevo a cabo el 5 de diciembre de 1998 en Bogotá con una alineación totalmente renovada. Se grabaron temas de toda la discografía de la banda y además se incluyeron 2 tributos : "Black Magic" de Slayer y "Ace of Spades" de Motorhead. Durante este año de 1998 Neurosis tambien tocó en "Rock al Parque" y también tocó en Bogotá y Medellin con la banda Criminal de Chile. Al mismo tiempo Neurosis aparece en una recopilación en CD del sello canadiense "Impaler Records" con la canción "The White Man" extractada del CD "Karma". 2007-10-17 16:27:00 A comienzos de 1996 la banda ingresa de nuevo a los estudios "Audiovisión" para grabar su segundo album titulado "Karma". Este trabajo se mezcló en Estados Unidos y salió al mercado en octubre de 1996. Se distribuyó en España, Japón, Argentina, Bélgica, Holanda, México, Ecuador, Perú y Bolivia. Nuevamente se inicia una gira nacional por las ciudades más importantes del país. Desafortunadamente para este trabajo no se contó con la participación de Arley Cruz (vocal) ya que decidió dejar la banda unos días antes de entrar al estudio. 2007-10-15 07:09:00 I finally caught up with 2 Days in Paris, a reasonably entertaining gabfest, starring the talented Julie Delpy (who also wrote and directed the film) and hot Jew Adam Goldberg. The movie is sort of like the semi-attractive bastard cousin of Before Sunrise and Before Sunset, which also starred Delpy. Before Sunset, helmed by Richard Linklater, is perhaps in my top five movies of all time?I saw it twice in the theaters, and I sobbed as if someone had ripped out my soul and spit on it. 2 Days in Paris is not nearly as effective, but it's a charming and funny way to pass the time?that's if Delpy and Goldberg don't grate on your nerves. They're both as neurotic as anybody in a Woody Allen film, and I have friends who would hate them?even though these characters are more like me than I like to admit.
