Hillary Clinton: ?I will be making no decisions tonight? on Quitting the Ra
2008-06-04 06:46:00
So, I’ve already analyzed Obama’s speech which was given shortly after Clinton’s following speech.  She had been expected to suspend her campaign and acknowledge that Obama had reached the “magic number,” but not actually concede, but she didn’t even do that.  She just said, “I’ll talk it over and decide later” essentially.  Here’s the speech: Thank you. Thank you so much. ...

Rep Betty Hall?s Speech in New Hampshire
2008-04-21 16:41:00
For me, impeachment has always been a scary idea. Over 30 years ago, in this legislature, we voted on a resolution to impeach Richard Nixon. (You see, we’ve done this before!) Representative Eugene Daniel, mayor of Franklin, gave an impassioned speech to impeach. It was powerful. There was a standing vote. Out of 400 people, ...

Impeachment Vote This Week - Go New Hampshire - Make Us Proud!
2008-04-13 21:20:00
The deepest core of every American soul holds a painful shame, an embarrassed humiliation that most today feel impotent to address. Our forefathers recognized that there would be times when the government’s executive and legislative branches could become so corrupted and unreliable to protect the Constitution that it would be up to the people. So they gave us a special tool, mentioned no less than six times in our Constitution, to use for a remedy.a Unfortunately, “the word” spoken today conjures a vast array of emotional responses with little real understanding of a constitutional process, historically grounded, which we seem to fear. House Resolution 24 is expected to be voted on April 16 by the New Hampshire House Representatives. This will be an historic vote – the first time a state legislature will attempt to petition the U.S. Congress to begin investigations to determine if there is sufficient cause/evidence to hold our current leaders accountable as stipulated in ...
New Hampshire Governor Denies Examining a Sales or Income Tax
2008-04-13 15:55:00
New Hampshire faces a huge budget deficit this year and and even larger one next year under Governor Lynch’s fiscally irresponsible budget passed last year. Indiana Feels Like New Hampshire & Iowa
2008-04-10 20:14:00
Obama ate breakfast at the Sunrise Cafe in South Bend this morning. People were lined up in bad weather this morning awaiting Barack Obama’s arrival at Gary, Indiana’s Roosevelt High School. Hillary Clinton plans a trip to Valparaiso. Will she grab a bite to eat with Valpo well-wishers at a local restaurant when she stops in Northwest Indiana? Bill Clinton is wandering around southern Indiana. Indiana is starting to feel like New Hampshire and Iowa with all of the retail politics going on in the Hoosier state as Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama battle for every Democratic vote they each can get in Indiana’s primary. The battle and all of the campaign activity is enough to make Republicans want to switch over and vote for one of the two candidates this spring — despite threats by Democratic officials to try to block these voters from casting a ballot. Look for Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to start knocking on doors if the Democratic primary polls continue...

Loon Mountain Review
2008-04-08 04:24:00
What day it was today on the southern slopes of the White Mountain National Forest. Loon, a new sister resort to Sunday River and Sugarloaf in the east, is a perennial favorite for commuters from Boston due to its' proximity to I93. Loon has been a major player in the east for a long time, but has struggled with expansion due to permits and changing ownerships. With a vertical drop of 2100 feet, Loon has an impressive drop and it isn't stacked; you can ski from the top of North Peak all the way to the base and then get back up on high-speed lifts. Having not skied Loon in over a decade, I'd heard horror stories about the massive crowds on the weekends and quite frankly I can't imagine the place on a busy day. Luckily, I was there mid-week and there were no crowds or lift lines. Even with the resorts long-awaited expansion to South Peak, the resort does not offer a lot of terrain. With a 4-person gondola and HSDQ getting people up the mountain, there are limited options from ther...

Early this afternoon, the devices were detonated and will be taken back to the state police lab in Concord.Members of the Explosives Disposal Unit remain on the scene. New Hampshire Impeachment Update - Cheney and Bush
2008-03-08 19:04:00
Concord, NH —- March 8, 2008 New Hampshire citizens made their first big push to get impeachment back on the table when close to a hundred overflowed a statehouse hearing room to testify in favor of Representative Hall’s House Resolution, -HR24- calling for the impeachment of the President and Vice President to commence in the US Congress. This resolution cites paragraph 603 in the parliamentary rules of Jefferson’s Manual, which Congress still adheres to today. Jefferson recognized that there would be times when the executive and legislative branches could become corrupt and unreliable to protect the Constitution. So he made special provision for the branch of State government that is most directly related to the people - the State House of Representatives - to be able to draft impeachment resolutions and send them to the U.S. Congress as a privileged motion, going directly to the floor of the Congress for debate and action. The New Hampshire House of Repres...

New Hampshire Paper: Clinton Lied to Voters

The New Hampshire Union, whose editorial board is (famously?) conservative, hits Clinton over her emerging position on the Michigan and Florida primaries, calling her explicitly a liar at one point. Vote Fraud New Hampshire
2008-01-28 01:54:00
A change in procedure has left ballots open to vote fraud by not keeping them in the vault. This youtube video shows an unexplained change in security procedure. Secretary of State Bill Gardner has no other explanation to this than the building is safe on the eve of the count. If so... why have a vault in the first place. It seems to invalidate the concept of vote count security.
New Hampshire Recount Shows A Fair Election

Back from New Hampshire (and Nevada)
2008-01-27 02:56:00
Back from another long break of blogging. Please forgive me. I was actually in New Hampshire and Nevada campaigning for Dennis Kucinich. It was a great experience for me because I had never worked on a Presidential campaign before, and I had never been to New Hampshire or Nevada before.New Hampshire was absolutely insane because it was the first primary in the country. I talked to a lot of people on the streets and they were very nice. Even people from other campaigns like Ron Paul, John McCain, Mike Huckabee, Barack Obama, and John Edwards were very fun to talk to on the streets even though we had our political disagreements. (I avoided Hillary supporters at all costs....) I was based in Concord, New Hampshire, and did a lot of canvassing there. I would say of everyone I talked to about 85% of them agreed with Dennis Kucinich on the issues, but every one of those people refused to vote for him based on "electability". I don't understand why someone would not want to vote for ...

Republican Race Gets More Confusing
2008-01-20 10:16:00
After Saturday?s Nevada Republican caucus and South Carolina?s Republican primary are we any closer to a front runner? Mitt Romney came away with a dominating win in Nevada and McCain barely pulled off a victory in South Carolina. Mike Huckabee was in need of a win in South Carolina, a state with a high evangelical voting block. McCain scored a huge victory by beating Huckabee with 33 percent of the vote to Huckabee?s 30 percent. Fred Thompson finished third with 16 percent of the vote and Mitt Romney had 15 percent. There was speculation that Fred Thompson might drop out of the race if he did not finish strong in South Carolina. Thompson gave a 10 minute speech on Saturday in which all signs pointed to the end of his campaign. The only thing he ended was his speech, which he finished by saying, ?God bless you!? before walking off stage. To make matters more confusing, Mitt Romney did extremely well in Nevada where he got 51 percent of the vote and Ron Paul finished in secon...
