The star-studded evening was graced with a handful of celebs, one of which was probably more noteworthy than the rest--Warren Buffett. The multi-billionaire was caught enjoying the scene and remodeled look of the trendy establishment. Photographers even caught him throwing up Jay-Z's infamous "Roc Diamond." Now we've seen everything!

SUBWAY FLEXING
2012-01-05 18:53:00 Flexing, aka Bonebreaking, is a form of street dancing that involves rhythmic contortions, slides, glides, pops and locks. Think breakdancing, meets robot, meets industrial grime. Here's a premier group from Brooklyn, New York City known as NextLevel Squad "flexing" their stuff inside the subway system. At about 4:28 it gets surreal--these guys are intense!

J.LO'S GRAFFITI BUST
2011-11-30 18:56:00 Bronx native and internationally-revered songstress/actress, Jennifer Lopez, is under major scrutiny for a recent Fiat commercial that she appears in. First, the ad was criticized when it was discovered that J. Lo's parts were actually shot in Los Angeles and not the New York City streets that the producers would actually have you believe (Brooklyn Bridge and the elevated 6 Train). Now, the ad is under more fire as a copyrighted graffiti mural (I Heart The Bronx) by the infamous Tats Cru was used without permission. Ms. Lopez and Co. can definitely expect a call from their lawyer. Yikes!

SELF-CONSTRUCTING SARAH JONES
2011-10-14 08:10:00 New York City-based playwright and performer, Sarah Jones, has a knack for truly embodying fictional characters. She was recently given the opportunity to grace the stage of TED Talks, where she delivered a brilliant (and comedic) performance regarding her thesis on self-construction. Impeccable!
PRODIGY'S ILLUMINATION
2011-10-13 06:32:00 Complex Magazine sat down with Mobb Deep member, Prodigy, to discuss his take on the Illuminati and secret societies. Albeit, "hardcore" Hip-Hop usually gets dismissed by so-called "scholars" and intellectuals, we'll be the first to note that "P" drops some real knowledge on this one. Population control, mind control, presidential bloodlines, you name it, he disscusses it!
NEW YORK, PHEW YORK
2011-10-11 06:36:00 Hotel concierge, Amber Jones, knows a thing or two about getting around The Big Apple. But it's not the sights and sounds that she concerns herself about in her upcoming children's book New York, Phew York--it's the smells! Jones says that she got the idea for creating the scratch-and-sniff storybook about the different aromas (and stenches) of the city after she found herself walking towards the scent of nearby pizza, only to accidentally step in horse manure. A slew of publishing proposals and fundraisers later and she's getting ready to release the title this coming November. With 450 pre-orders already placed, we think it's pretty safe to say that this idea smells like success!

POLICE BRUTALITY AT OCCUPY WALL STREET
2011-09-30 17:08:00 The recent Occupy Wall Street protest in New York City is garnering national/international outrage, and not necessarily just because of the nature of the demonstration. Instead, the spotlight is being placed on NYPD officers for their aggressive and downright abusive response to peaceful protestors. The following is an MSNBC report from Lawrence O'Donnell (The Last Word) that focuses on some very candid examples of the excessive force caught on camera. Some truly disturbing images that raise a lot of questions...

Fans can expect an official release of the t90 Laser IV on October 1st, 2011. But until then, just rest assured that Nike pulled out plenty of stops for this one. We were lectured on the actual science that proves it!

2010-09-12 17:37:00 It was a foggy September 11, 2010 and the lights from where the World Trade Center stood created an eerie glow in New York City. Both urban and suburban New Yorker's could easily see this mark from where the twin towers fell nine years ago, as far away as Ossining! This picture was taken from Pier 17 at the Seaport. Major Celebrities Spotted in New York City!
2010-09-01 20:34:00 Photo courtesy of A Band Apart One of the best parts about New York City is hanging out with all the fame. For instance, I was eating outside a café when who should walk by but the guy who raped Ving Rhames in "Pulp Fiction"!That's right, the guy who played Zed, who kidnapped Butch Coolidge and Marcellus Wallace and then buggered Wallace in some kind of torture chamber basement while the Gimp looked after Coolidge, was just walking down the street talking on a cell phone. Because he looks like a creepy dude anyway, I was not too surprised when he spotted a good-looking girl walking the opposite direction and turned to watch her ass, making some kind of...

Roger Nygard goes where no docu director dares: 'The Nature of Existence'
2010-07-02 02:39:00 By BOB ANDELMAN Roger Nygard has come back to Earth?or has he? The highly regarded documentary filmmaker went to the outer reaches of the galaxy a few years ago when he profiled Star Trek fans?and a few actors from the show?to make Trekkies and its sequel, Trekkies 2. Somehow, he made fun of Trek fans at the same time he captured the essence of the beliefs and devotion to the world of Gene Roddenberry. -------------- LISTEN TO ROGER NYGARD INTERVIEW! -------------- Now he?s back trying to make sense of a much greater challenge, The Nature of Existence itself. Nygard?s The Nature of Existence premiered in New York City on June 18, at the Quad Cinemas, 34 West 13th Street, and opens on July 2 at the Sunset 5 Theaters @ 8000 W. Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles: One of the boldest characters in Nygard?s Existence is someone whom I instantly remembered from college in the early 1980s: Brother Jed Smock, the self-appointed campus evangelist at the University of Florida. ...

Ramona Singer, one of the 'Real Housewives of New York City,' gives Mr. Med
2010-05-05 18:49:00 By BOB ANDELMAN The rest of the ladies may be ?The Real Housewives of New York,? but Ramona Singer is the real businesswoman of the Big Apple. Roger Lowenstein takes Mr. Media to 'The End of Wall Street'
2010-04-22 22:15:00 By BOB ANDELMAN The sky is falling! The sky is falling! What?s that? The sky has already fallen? Damn, I hate being late to the party. Apparently, it?s old news that the world financial system was on the edge of collapse over the course of recent years and those fat, rich bastards on Wall Street?and President Obama?s right, it is fun to hate on them?nearly sent us all into oblivion. But what you may not know is who and what brought this mess upon us. That?s where financial journalist Roger Lowenstein fits in. Lowenstein?s new book, The End of Wall Street?which entered the New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller lists at #1 upon publication?is a perfectly timed dissection of what happened and who?s to blame. Lowenstein even starts the book with a handy roster of the play?s characters so it?s easy to keep track of the villains. And his timing on this show is perfect, since less than an hour ago, Obama was at Cooper Union in Manhattan, addressing the titans of W...
