Este disco es de los que pasan de "discos grandes" a ser "grandes discos" con las sucesivas escuchas. Magnificos temas acústicos que suenan quizá más a grupo folcky americano que a cantautor británico; y magnificas guitarras, instrumento del que dicen los que tuvieron la ocasión de verle teloneando a "The Fray" en La Riviera, es un verdadero virtuoso.No te pierdas la magnífica versión que hace del "Teardrop" de Massive Attack.I Need Something

2007-10-22 00:33:00 Many a crazy thing has happened recently, but that's probably the most amusing. How's everyone doing? I've pretty much recovered from last week, it was a bit of a mad one. Spent a day doing Euro promo, that was a strange day, must've ended up speaking at least six-seven languages by the end of it. My favourite bit was learning how to say Sponge Bob Square Pants in French, Spanish, German and Swedish!? Then it was the i-Tunes Live thing which was wicked, thanks to everyone that came down to that and sorry I had to do Dream Catch Me two and half times ( the second time was a false start...) The EP of that comes out Monday I believe. Next morning flew to Ireland! Did a TV chat show that went out last night in Ireland, I think...might be next week. Andrew Maxwell was on it as well, stand-up comedian dude that I've bizarrely meet on numerous occasions.Read the complete blog here

2007-10-21 16:28:00 Dopo vari EP, "Hand Built By Robots" è il primo album di Newton Faulkner, un giovane cantautore inglese di soli 22 anni che recentemente ha supportato in tour Paolo Nutini e James Morrison e sta diventando uno degli artisti preferiti nella comunità di surfisti della Cornovaglia. Studia chitarra dall'età di 15 anni e ha frequentato l'Academy of Contemporary Music di Guifford dove ha avuto tra gli insegnati il chitarrista Eric Roche (colui che ha arrangiato la parte di chiatarra in canzoni come "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" dei Beatles e "Smells Like Teen Spirit" dei Nirvana).Newton Faulkner, accompagnato principalmente dalla sua chitarra usata anche come strumento da percussione, ci offre del buon folk con elementi di rock leggero e blues.
