Nigel Lythgoe on American Idol Auditions
2006-08-09 18:54:23 At the Rose Bowl auditions, Bill Keveney talked to Idol exeutive producer Nigel Lythgoe (now a TV star in his own right as a presiding judge on So You Think You Can Dance)."It’s going well," Lythgoe said. But he added, "Just going through them, it doesn’t look like a very talented bunch."But the auditioners themselves are happy to dispute this contention. "The arrogance is still here after all these seasons," Lythgoe commented about the rejected contestants. "Our bar goes up every single year. (That) is a problem for them." Idol Chatter I just want to hear about SYTYCD, LOL! But if you go to USA Today’s Idol Chatter they are live blogging the auditions. I am too lazy to post all of them, sorry! LOL! |
