Nissan Forum Suited for your Family
2008-05-15 11:51:00 The Nissan Forum is a new concept minivan that debuted during the 2008 North American International Auto Show. This concept seemed to inject more sex appeal into the looks of all minivans. Car choice is a truly family affair so I agree that most cars for family man should look like this one. I think Nissan Forum respects the needs and desires of both grownups and kids. This concept is expected to become a production version of next-generation Nissan Quest.Rachel Nguyen, the director for Advanced Planning and Strategy in Nissan North America says that in this forum concept, the driver is just as important as the passengers. ?It offers a sophisticated space for adults and an engaging space for children ? allowing both groups to enjoy themselves in their own individualistic ways while being connected in one vehicle.?This concept adds a higher level of dramatic styling through its wide stance. It has a trackless sliding side door design, which offers a clean, uninterrupted use of the ve...

New Concept Car: Nissan Forum
2007-12-20 15:13:00 After Nissan teased us with the sketches of the Forum concept in November and December, the firm has finally released official images of the 'exploratory design concept' developed by Nissan Design America in La Jolla, CA. It will be unveiled at the NAIAS in January. The exterior design of the MPV is a basic one-box form, but adds a wide stance, high beltline and slightly aggressive front end appearance. LED lights feature front and rear, with a subtle LED light bar accenting the grille and hood designs. Design innovations include 90-degree opening front doors devoid of B-pillars - to facilitate access to the 2nd and 3rd row seats.Inside, the Forum is fitted with leather-appointed pedestal-style front seats and a cockpit area surrounded by wood and aluminum. A 'floating' IP design blends communications technology with simple controls and includes mood lighting under the upper and lower console areas. A built-in console-mounted microwave, sized to fit a bag of microwave popcorn, is...

2008 Nissan Forum Concept
2007-12-19 19:20:00 Though minivan sales have cooled significantly in the past five years, American families snap up more than a million minivans annually. Brands like Ford, Nissan, and GM may have pulled back from minivans entirely but Chrysler, Honda and Toyota are still dedicated to providing buyers with those traditionally flavored family movers. The Forum concept isn't unrecognizable to minivan drivers and owners. It has the big box in back for kids and cargo, but Nissan designers have gone with a higher beltline, styled side glass and a wider stance, to give a more sporty feel to the traditional one-box van. Emphasizing that theme is a curvaceously sweeping grille that is accented by a soft LED light bar. While Nissan hasn't eliminated the sliding doors that parents love, it has carefully hidden their tracks. The front doors swing open to a 90-degree angle. Further enhancing the sense of spaciousness, the Forum's sides have lost the typical B-pillars that would reinforce the middle of its body; ...
