I must admit, however, to not having remembered the details of the poem (now that I think about it, there’s a lot I don’t recall about college) when I first heard of the Beowulf movie and requiring some Google-time to get up to speed. I’m bringing this up because I sometimes save time describing the plot of movies based on historical events (see Elizabeth) or famous literary works by referring the reader to an encyclopedia. Meaning that it would not be long before we could see an "fan version" around the web. Just in time as I catch up to all 140 episodes of the anime, I got my hands a copy and sat through close to two hours to see what the "Strawberry Gang" was doing. WARNING: Spoliers ahead! The movie starts off with Ichigo and Rukia on the scene of a hollow attack, as always. Short Kindergarteners Got Nobody
2007-09-06 06:00:00 There are certain sentences that bring on dread in a mother when you hear them from your children, and I just got hit with #256: "Baby has to take the lego out of his mouth." (For the curious, I believe that #1 is simply, "Uh-oh.") Sure enough, my almost-two-year-old had managed to stuff a long, flat lego into his mouth, and I had to go pry it out. If I understand correctly, it was meant to be the “french fry” that would compliment the plastic toy hamburger he had been gnawing on only minutes before. So it has been a long day. I can always tell that it has been a long day when more than one person looks at my 9-months-pregnant self, wrestling two toddler boys into some semblance of publicly acceptable behavior, and says, “Boy, you really have your hands full, don’t you?” Ha!
