2007-08-29 22:10:00 It looks like we have our first fundraising scandal of the 2008 presidential campaign, and it involves a major fundraiser for Hillary Clinton. Norman Hsu, who it turns out skipped town before sentencing after pleading no contest to a grand theft charge and is still wanted by California authorities, has been a major fundraising bundler for Democratic candidates nationally since 2004 as well as a major donor himself. During the current election cycle he's been raising money for Hillary Clinton. The article linked above says he's bundled at least $100,000 for Hillary's campaign and may have been responsible for $500,000 or more in donations. I first noticed Hsu a few days ago when a news story appeared noting that one of the addresses which has donated the most money to Hillary's campaign is located near the end of San Francisco International Airport's runways and is occupied by a family headed by a Postal Service employee who earns less than $50,000/year and a full-time homem...
