Thanks to everyone who posted questions!!! MHR -- What are the major needs the Vikes need to address in the offseason? DN -- Well, for starters, we're going to need a safety. After Dwight Smith's recent brush with the law and his pathetic performance last Sunday against Washington, I personally can't be rid of the guy fast enough. On the offensive side of the ball, we need one more WR, whether we get him in the draft or through free agency. The two big questions for the Vikings this off-season are -- What are they going to do at quarterback? As far as this is concerned, I'm a bit torn. 2007-08-06 16:54:00 Ok, sorry for the long absence. It was my birthday week and well, I just didn't feel up to doing much more than I had too. I have been looking for inspiration as well. I have looked around for a bit and really couldn't find something that was substantial enough to hold a blog together...until...Saturday.It- was a rare, and I mean RARE moment of work when I actually got some hang time with one of the greatest. We'll call him....Mickey. Mickey makes the time go by so fast you almost wish it hadn't. Anyway, on this day I learned that Mickey has "calves like a norse god!" I was very happy to hear this as I knew instantly I must share this knowledge with the world, but to my amazement it was true! These damn things are like watermelons streched with hairy canvas, like uncle Vinny's poly-blend turtleneck pulled over a VW bug, like a fuckin' human head trapped under bear skin....shi-dizzle!
