Northern California Corvette Association at Belwood of Los Gatos
2008-04-22 17:14:00 Los Gatos, the land of pricey real estate, is also the home to pricey and classic automobiles. There are several high-end dealerships in downtown, as locals know.. Recently, though, it was owners who met in Los Gatos, not dealers. The Northern California Corvette Association gathered at the cabana of Belwood of Los Gatos last weekend, and what a pretty site it was! This event was "Legends bag stuffing" hosted by Greg and Leta Reynolds, and it will be on the group's website soon. Neal Golding, the group's historian (and the photographer of these beautiful pics), tells me that the club is always looking for new members, and invites those interested to please visit their website.

Beanie Siegel and Freeway Spotted In Northern California
2007-12-11 23:02:00 Over the past weekend, I personally ran into Beanie Siegel and Freeway in the Hilltop Mall in Richmond, CA and I must say that it was quite interesting. I think that the rumors of Beanie Siegel being broke just might have some truth to it, because Beans looked very broke and grimy. Beans Beside Beans' broke look, he was really pleasant and cool to talk to. Beans signed alot of autographs and took the time to talk personally to alot of the teens who recognized him. Now on the otherhand, Freeway was a complete jerk (like my corny line? LOL). He acted like he was to good to chat and barely wanted to sign autographs. That's not a good look for someone who has only sold 45,000 albums since his album released two weeks ago.

California Mille to discover northern California
2007-05-02 00:00:00 Some 65 historic race cars from five continents and 6 states have departed April 30 for the 17th running of the California Mille. The California tour recalls Italy?s most famous road race, the Mille Miglia (thousand mile) that ran from 1927 to 1957 and is restricted to cars that could have qualified for the original event. Organizer Martin Swig reveals that the route is designed to capture the feel of the Italian race. ?In designing our route, we look for colorful towns, little-known passes, interesting back roads and inns reminiscent of those in the Italian country side. Ours is not a race, but a brisk drive through the most memorable parts of northern California,?he added. The 2007 version of the Mille begun on April 29 with a day-long Preview atop Nob Hill in San Francisco, billed as the biggest free car show of its kind in America. New Audis, including the R-8 will be on display at the Fairmont Hotel, and will accompany the ?racers? all week on the road. Alfa Romeos, Ferraris...
