All of which suffer from unusual, bizarre consequences.And then there is my uncle, who has been diagnosed with ‘Exploding Head Syndrome’. Now, at first when my mother told me about this I was sceptical, but to my astonishment it was actually listed in my Oxford Medical Dictionary. As he describes it, he hears an enormous crash that wakes him up in a sudden jolt sending his pulse racing.Last night I swear I heard a massive bang, but couldn’t really tell where it came from. The next morning no-one else seemed to have been woken by any noise.Here’s hoping it’s not hereditary…Of course, I could just be suffering from medical student syndrome.
