2007-09-18 15:03:00 I have just uploaded a jitte video to www.shotokanunleashed.com First video, correct speed, then performed slowly.There are several differences in the kata, depending on association, but the kata is probably 95% the same for all shotokan karate-ka.JitteThe history of jitte is very clouded, but most agree that the kata developed in Tomari, but probably originated in China.The kata has very moves, associated with defence against a staff. These unusual kata moves seem to have been mixed with the more traditional shotokan karate moves, ie, age-uke (upper rising block), taesho (palm heal strike) and manji-gamae (double block).Jitte is a very smooth and flowing kata, with slow moves, suddenly exploding into fast, jitte also has two haito-uchi (ridge hand) attacks and an unusual mika zuki geri (crescent kick), double arm block combination, in kaba dachi (horse riding stance).Jitte is usually practiced at black belt.

Pasokan Minim, 3.000 Beras Ketan Akan Diimpor Dari Vietnam
2007-06-27 09:49:00 Akibat minimnya persedian beras ketan di Ibukota Jakarta, khususnya untuk kebutuhan industri, Food Station sebagai pengelola Pasar Induk Beras Cipinang (PIBC), akhir Juni ini akan mengimpor 3.000 ton beras ketan dari Vietnam."Rencananya akhir Juni ini, 3000 ton beras ketan dari Vietnam akan masuk ke PIBC," terang Kepala Seksi Monitoring Food Station PIBC Nurul Shantiwardhani.Nurul mengungkapkan, pihaknya dan beberapa importir lainnya di berbagai kota Indonesia telah mendapatkan izin dari Departemen Pertanian untuk mengimpor beras ketan. Namun pemberian izin impor beras ketan tersebut baru dikeluarkan, setelah pihak importir melaksanakan kewajibannya membeli beras ketan nasional sebanyak 5 persen dari total impornya.âKewajiban para importir ini untuk membeli beras ketan nasional sebanyak 5 persen bertujuan menjaga kontinuitas produksi beras ketan dalam negeri,â ujarnya.Beranjak dari peraturan tersebut, pihak PIBC berencana untuk membeli beras ketan nasional sebanyak 150 ton terl...
