2008-05-22 05:54:00 After Tuesday?s contests in Oregon and Kentucky, Barack Obama is now within 75 delegates of clinching the Democratic nomination. On Wednesday, Senator Clinton told the Associated Press that she was willing to take her fight to the Democratic National Convention to get Michigan and Florida delegates seated. When Senator Clinton was asked if she would support the two states if they appealed an unfavorable ruling by the committee?s decision on the convention floor she replied, ?Yes I will. I will, because I feel very strongly about this.? ?I will consult with Floridians and the voters in Michigan because it's really their voices that are being ignored and their votes that are being discounted, and I'll support whatever the elected officials and the voters in those two states want to do.? 2008-05-21 09:10:00 Autore: Ultime Notizie Agenzia di pubblicità Oggetto: US presidential election, Oregon a Obama Kentucky a Hillary Inviato: Mer Mag 21, 2008 6:10 pm (GMT 11) Primarie democratiche a un filo dal traguardo: il senatore nero dell'Illinois sempre più vicino alla nomination democratica per la Casa Bianca.

Barack Obama Draws A Record 75,000 In Portland, Oregon Today
2008-05-19 03:14:00 I've seen 18,000 gather in Oakland's City Hall plaza to hear Senator Obama and I thought that was massive. Every part of the area was filled with people and I could not imagine a larger gathering. Well, think of a crowd almost four times larger than that and you will have this photo and the massively attended Obama speech in Portland, Oregon today. What this says is Barack should not only do well in Oregon, he should clinch the number of delegates he needs to claim a majority of pledged delegates. But this also sends a message to Superdelegates that he's got a massive base of donors giving below $200, which means the Obama campaign does not have to share the names on their mailing lists. If you want to be a part of Obama's action, you've got to back him. |
