All assets and developer kits were removed last Friday as confirmed by Kotaku. Instead, Namco plans on completing the game with its internal game label--most likely Surge, the creative group behind Afro Samurai.BottleRocket had worked with the Afro Samurai team earlier in the devlopment process, but claims that their contributions to the workload was less than helpful. In addition to missing deadlines, Namco Bandai states that the work submitted for the game by the BottleRocket team did not meet its standards.
