2007-07-26 15:18:00 Thats effect is called as the panning technique. How to do it? Keep a longer shutter speed. Focus on your subject, while moving the camera in the direction of the subjects movement, not loosing the focus point still on the subject. Then click, and while the shutter is open, keep moving the camera steadily in the same direction.Not easy.. try it. That shot above is the best out of 30 panning shots. In order to pan and zoom on images it is best to start with an image that is larger than the area you wish to pan or zoom on. You can, of course, enlarge the image in WildPresenter. However, when you scale an image larger, it will pixelate. So it is best to start with the largest possible image.

Great Apps: Spanning Sync Update II
2007-02-08 18:49:01 Great news for a great app: The Spanning Sync Beta is officially open for public download. After jacking up their servers to accommodate the thousands of interested computer users, the dudes over at Spanning Sync are back in action as of yesterday. If you haven’t been keeping up, Spanning Sync syncs Apple iCal with Google Calendar. Both ways. I’ve been using it for the last 24 hours, and it is AWESOME. While they’ve been remarkably on top of fixing bugs, remember that Spanning Sync is a Beta - I haven’t had any problems yet, but you’ll probably want to follow their instructions regarding backing up both your gCal and iCal calendars. Download Spanning Sync at their blog, and make your dreams (if said dreams include a seamless gCal/iCal experience) a reality.
