Some of you may have heard about Pantene's new charity initiative called Pantene Beautiful Lengths. This is the first campaign of its kind to encourage people to grow, cut and donate their hair to make free real-hair wigs for women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment. Since July 2006, when Diane Lane cut her hair on the Today Show, over 6,000 ponytails have been sent in!! The picture below shoes Diane Lane getting her hair cut by Ann Curry, from NBC?s the Today Show. Also in the picture is Pantene?s celebrity stylist Danilo who then styled her hair. Pantene launched this campaign in partnership with the Entertainment Industry Foundation, and the wigs are distributed at American Cancer Society wig banks across the country.
