De oregano komt al weer op de eerste blaadjes van de basilicum komt komen boven de grond.Tijd voor PastaPasta met bonen en rode paprika (Pasta con le fave e la paprica rossa)Ingrediënten200 gr tuinbonen300gr penne rigatta2 el olijfolie2 teentje geperste knoflook1 rode paprika in blokjes gesnedenSnufje cayennepeper 200 gr mozzarella in blokjesBereidenBreng een grote pan met water aan de kook Doe de tuinbonen erin en kook ze 2 minuten.Haal de bonen met een schuimspaan uit het water.Doe de pasta met een theelepelzout in het kokende water en kook hem al dente. Dop ondertussen de tuinbonen(zo blijven ze mooi wit)Verhit de olie in grote pan en voeg knoflook en paprika.Fruit ze 2 minuten op laag vuurLaat de pasta uitlekken en doe het met de tuinbonen, mozzarella over in de braadpan. It is important that the paprika flesh feels thick when you touch the fresh vegetable, otherwise the whole flesh will be removed together with the peel. I have seen many versions of this salad, some people flavour it with garlic, other with different herbs. Personally I prefer it simply, with salt, vinegar and sugar. That is also the way how my mom prepares it.Ingredients:paprika1 tablespoon vinegar (20%)1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon sugar1 tabelspoon oilPreheat oven to 200°C and bake paprika for 25-30 minutes. Put it into a pot, cover and leave it for about 30 minutes. Add some water over and peel. In a bowl prepare the marinade, mix water with salt, sugar and vinegar. Add oil on top. Leave over night in the fridge, serve chilled.

Normalerweise mache ich ja meine Nudeln selber, aber einen Penne-Aufsatz für meine Küchenmaschine gibt es - aus Qualitätsgründen - nicht in Europa, sondern nur in den USA.
