VW has already taken the wraps off its Scirocco Nurburgring race car and the Audi TT clubsport quattro, but the German automaker also brought along a Passat R36 Variant Styling Study. Based on the already potent Passat R36, the Styling Study takes up the car's performance potential a notch. The R36's 300 horsepower 3.6L V6 stays, but the new variation gets a upgraded exhaust system with larger outlets. The R36 Styling Study rolls on 20 inch wheels borrowed from the Touareg R-Line and braking duties have been assigned to larger, six-piston Brembo units. All chrome trim has also been removed.
