RWC: Thorburn Names Squad For Wednesday's Match
2007-09-10 15:09:00 Eagle coach Peter Thorburn has named his squad ahead of USA's next RWC match versus Tonga. Keep in mind that Paul Emerick was recently cited by the IRB and could face possible suspension.A hearing is expected prior to the Tonga match. I hope the yellow card he received will be considered punishment enough because without the talented & experienced center, the U.S. may have a rough go of it. USA's match with Tonga will air Live on Setanta Sports starting at 8:00 AM Eastern. Looks like I may arrive to work a bit late on Wednesday.USA team:1 Mike MacDonald2 Owen Lentz3 Chris Osentowski4 Alec Parker5 Mike Mangan6 Louis Stanfill7 Todd Clever8 Henry Bloomfield9 Chad Erskine10 Mike Hercus11 Takudzwa Ngwenya12 Vahafolau Esikia13 Paul Emerick14 Salesi Sika15 Chris WylesReplacements:16 Blake Burdette17 Matekitonga Moeakiola18 Hayden Mexted19 Inaki Basauri20 Mike Petri21 Valenese Malifa22 Albert Tuipulotu
