They got plenty more rain and sunshine to get even better. If that was even possible. Bu they did. The stalls at the farmers' market bear the same jovial velvet dresses of oranges, yellows and terra cotta. Makes me long for the fresh markets of Provence where I grew up. So colorful, so hot, so happy. Thursday seemed to start with a peach sessions: roasting, jamming, cutting and peeling a bunch to freeze and enjoy during Fall. Lunch was the perfect time to make plans about their use. A kid on a bench during the Peach Festival not too far away from where I live in Michigan in a town called Romeo (the same town from where Kid Rock is from) a very hot afternoon helping mom sell peach pies for $10 along with many other home made goodies during the Peach Festival. Next to him there was the white tent where the rest of the pies where being offered for sale by mom and dad. The kid had some on the bench with him in the white box just for the cars that would stop to buy a pie without having to actually leave the car, how clever! 2008-03-28 06:48:00 Having now seen all 25 episodes, I feel I can truly justify the high score I have given to Peach Girl ^_^ It’s romantic shoujo anime in it’s purest, undiluted form, meaning hard core angst! It’s a romantic rollercoater ride and for all fans of that genre of anime, this is a must watch! Animation: Beautiful animation. Bright vivid colours, wonderful backgrounds, everything is so well detailed, you could almost imagine yourself being there. The character design is very true to it’s original manga origins. Some people have complained about the characters full lips, but this is how Miwa Ueda envisioned her characters to look.
