Im going to Pennsylvania to be studied.
2009-09-13 21:55:00 As I eluded to in my last post, Dr. Wenzel along with the folks at the University of Pittsburgh’s Asthma Institute, have taken an interest in my case and have invited me to participate as a research subject in the Severe Asthma Research Program. The SARP is one of the most comprehensive studies of severe asthmatics ever undertaken. My study is scheduled for the 3rd week in November. The project I’ll be involved in is titled : Inflammation, Myofibroblasts and Loss of Elastic Recoil in Severe Asthma. The Severe Asthma Research Program ( SARP for short), is a collaborative research effort involving 4 different Universities, each adding their own research specialties to the mix. The basic goal of the SARP is to determine what make “severe” asthma different than the moderate of mild forms of the disease. The information they gain by studying people like me, is added to their already extensive asthma database, which is available to lung researchers worldwide. ...

October 3 Election Analysis
2008-10-04 01:49:00 Updated October 4:Obama is really starting to pull away now. McPalin better do something and fast. They've got nothing to lose at this point, and I expect the full bore of 527's with Revered Wright, William Ayers and anything else they can dredge up. I figure things are going to get awful dirty real fast. To be honest, it's probably McCain's only hope at this point.Pennsylvania looks like it is pulling away for Obama now. Biden is a big hit here. It's a funny state. There's Democratic Philly and Pittsburgh and Pennsyltucky, Pennsylsippi and Pennsylbama in between. A bunch of rural, racist Whites, often Democrats, who love to hunt and ain't voting for no nigger.Still, recent polls are giving Obama up to a 12 point lead. The state has a 1 million Democratic registration advantage so it's really a trap for McCain. The plot was that as long as it was close enough, McCain would be forced to spend a lot of time and money in Pennsylvania, and he'd probably end up losing.McCain's ...

Pennsylvania deposit law
2008-05-27 16:00:00 I realize that in PA you can request 2months security during the first year but then only 1 month after that year is up- we have always asked for 1 month security and the last months rent to prevent tenants from using their security deposit as their last months rent which happened frequently in the past with tenants who stayed more than a year, were good tenants and paid the rent monthly but then when moved out didn't pay their last month's rent which although illegal didn't phase them, then we have to go after them for damages which isn't usually worth the cost.- if we are limited to 1month security after the first year how do we prevent this? Or is there a difference between security deposit, last months rent, cleaning deposit etc so that in the end we have more money on hand when they move to cover the damages.

2008-05-21 21:24:00 Buying a home in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Due to the high standard of living and a very good environment, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania has become one of the most popular places to live in. Recently it has been attracting a lot of new home buyers. According to Forbes magazine, Pittsburgh has been voted to be one of the cleanest and most livable cities in America. This city includes some of the best schools in the country, oldest museums, beautiful recreational parks and a good infrastructure. A recent study by United College Marketing Services has shown that student credit lines have increased to over $6,000. Credit card usage has tripled since 2001 amongst teenagers as well. Since eighteen year-olds in many countries and most U.S. states are eligible for a card without parental consent or employment, the likelihood of increased balances, unwise use of credit and damaged credit scores increases. And bare with me, the message might be convoluted, and can surely be interpreted a thousand different ways...But...How can anyone deny that Hillary is more electable in November when she wins, and tightens so many of these late races in the primary season? How can anyone deny that Hillary has broad based support when she is able to pull out Indiana, narrow North Carolina, and blow West Virginia clean off the electoral map? How can anyone deny the ...
The Democratic Presidential Race: A View from Pennsylvania
2008-05-10 00:53:00 by Dave Lindorff The results in Tuesday’s twin primaries—Barack Obama by 14 percent in North Carolina and Hillary Clinton by 2 percent in Indiana—confirmed that Clinton is finished as a contender. Barack Obama will be the Democratic candidate for president this fall. Clinton, the private-schooled, Wellesley and Yale-educated millionaire lawyer from Chicago, who first tried to present herself as a White House veteran, and then, in recent weeks, as a NASCAR mom on Food Stamps, and who in Pennsylvania resorted to cheap race-baiting and red-baiting in an effort to derail her opponent, has failed. Barack Obama, another private-schooled Harvard and Yale-educated lawyer, but one who actually did have to work his way up the economic ladder, won decisively in North Carolina, even drawing a significant number of working-class white voters in a state where white voters have not traditionally voted for candidates with dark skin. As a resident of Pennsylvania, I can only express a...

I think her tenacity shows a real strength that?s inside her." I wish we didn't have to wait to election day for this, but I have great respect for how the Edward's played their cards in this race. I think John has held things close in hope of another run at VP, which seems silly to me, but that is what I think he's up to.
Pennsylvania commuters can win free gas for carpooling and taking the bus
2008-04-30 23:30:00 Pennsylvanians who want to take one of the easiest possible steps to reduce vehicle emissions, congestion and fuel use (I'm talking about carpooling here) are getting a push from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. The PA DEP's is promoting a summer-long "Share the Ride Challenge" that targets Susquehanna Valley commuters. The Challenge starts tomorrow and officially continues through September 30 and asks people to carpool or use public transportation at least ten times in those 22 weeks. Is that even a challenge? Ten times? Baby steps, I guess. Ambitious commuters could knock ten rides down in two weeks. If you'd like to participate, visit the Challenge website and register an account. Prizes include restaurant gift cards, free gas (oh, the irony) and more. Even though the prizes end in September, there's really no limit as to when carpooling makes sense.[Source: PA DEP / Yahoo]

But no. They got addicted to the sound of calliope music and don’t want the spectacle to end. Selfish bastards.
