People Watching
2008-07-17 18:06:00 I’m sitting at the airport, waiting for boarding. Next to me is a man with a braid, and real birkenstocks. I had forgotten about those. I recently saw a gentleman get off a plane who looked exactly like he came out of an 80’s hair band. Long hair, black clothes. He walked with a limp, and had the COOLEST silver tipped cane. Tired travelers. Tired kids. Parents dragging. I have to say though, this is the best, quickest time I’ve ever had. I was the only one in check in, baggage check, and security, so went right through. I love the Burbank Airport, I sincerely do. I wish I could always fly out of here.

Gun Shows and People Watching
2008-03-12 17:33:00 O ne of my favorite pastimes, when not riding motorcycles that is, is attending local Gun Shows in Tampa and Lakeland Florida. These shows are large with hundreds of vendors selling their wares, lined up in long rows of tables covered with Guns, Accessories, Tools, Ammunition, Holsters, Bags, Antique Firearms, Laser Engraving, Gun Safes, Knives, Swords, Cross Bows, Blow Guns and dang near every variation of the above. There are even some locals that sell beef jerky of many varieties at the shows. Attendees can sit for their Florida Concealed Weapons Permit and complete all of the required documentation, fingerprint cards, etc needed to secure the CWP from the State. There’s something special about standing at the end of a row of tables and seeing literally hundreds of firearms on display for purchase. Well I enjoy it anyway! 2007-09-20 18:07:00 So I saw some interesting people during my trip 1. Demi Moore - she is flawless. It’s kinda disgusting really. However, she was really nice to people. 2. Jenna Jameson - It was extremely weird, I saw her at the hotel. She’s really tiny and duck faced, ugh. 3. Anna Wintour - I saw her entering Thakoon. First knocked off my list. 4. Andre Leon Talley - He’s massive. 2nd knocked off my list 5. Carine Roitfeld - she is my style hero, only that woman can make a grey tshirt look amazing, paired with a balenciaga skirt and sky-high heels. I saw her outside of Proenza. She was the 3rd. Carine in Alaia outside of Phi I got a picture taken with Hillary Alexander (I love her!), she’s was so nice and damn personable. SHe loves the Play Place and the fries as well. We can't get her to eat much of anything, so if it means french fries and me scarfing down a luke warm "rat burger" as Hubby affectionalty refers to it, then so be it. Recently, Angel from Singapore (Naengmyeon Weather is Back) requested to see what people are wearing during this summer weather. It was taken while we were sitting in some lounge chairs enjoying some Red Mango frozen yogurt. Notice the problems with the door--I ended up accidentally stopping it permanently when I was leaving, as I wanted to test out the safety features of this thing. The other day Hope pointed out a picture of Famke Janssen and her Boston Terrier, Licorice walking around L.A. with her (human) boyfriend on the Celebrity Dog Watcher web site. I think my Ceilidh and Licorice would get along famously! A couple of years ago I saw a picture of Kevin Sorbo ("Hercules" on TV) and his Brussels Griffon. His was a red, rough, but still! Or when someone else names their dog the same name as yours. My Agility instructor's Airedale Terrier's name is Kaleigh, pronounced the same as my Boston's Ceilidh (Kay-lee!). That Gaelic - tough language. And I just found out that CSI's Eric Szmanda's Golden Retriever is Dax - Golden Retriever, French Bulldog - same name!
