2008-04-25 04:39:00 The sun set on my left, a golden orb announcing the end of a perfect day. The blue gray clouds to my right formed a perfect backdrop for tiny raindrop prisms. I reflected over the day. Paper was pushed for hours in the morning. Appointments were attended in the cleansing warmth of the spring rain. Calls were completed as I traveled out of St. Paul to "Grandparents' Day" for my grandson. Road trips are always good times for reflection. The trip back rewarded me with a full rainbow. Two pots of gold! One for family. One for a productive day. It doesn't get any better than this.

Another Perfect Day In The Northeast Kingdom
2008-04-11 02:09:00 It was early this morning when I heard the distant sound base drive of the South Ridge Quad start turning. Expecting some solid cloud cover and perhaps some NCP, (Non-crystallizing precipitation, we don?t use the word r**n in the skiing world. It?s taboo) I saw the bright rays of the early morning sun peeking through the shades. Curious whether my eyes were deceiving me, I went out to porch to find bluebird skies and warming temperatures. It was day 80 of the 2007/2008 version of the search and having heard the grooming machines all over the mountain last night, I knew that the mountain would be ready. Stepping out of the condo and onto the super-soft April snow, I looked around to the visible peaks to see if any new bare spots were creeping up, it is April 10th after all, and yet the brown blemishes were few and far between. This would be another epic day on snow.

I enjoyed their debut album, so I'm excited to hear their follow-up. As much as I love them I do feel their sound has become way to repetitive at some points, but thankfully lead singer Natalie is there to change it up. It's mostly made up of the usual upbeat Euro/dance tracks, two slower paced songs, and four covers which just fall a bit short. So basically it's a nice fun album that you can dance to, but don't take it to seriously. If you enjoyed their debut album you will have no problem liking this one. 1. What Hurts The Most2. Runaway3. 2007-11-18 04:07:00 What do you do for fun on a perfect, sunny California Saturday in November? Ten of us agents from Intero in Los Gatos hosted a shredding party as a client appreciation event. From 9am until 1pm today, we provided a mobile shredding truck from United Shredding in our parking lot, and offered some refreshments and information on identity theft as well. Our clients and friends expressed great enthusiasm and appreciation, and we counted the day as a success. One of my friends decided it was so easy that he went back home and retrieved more to shred before we finished. We had a great time and enjoyed the ideal mid-70 degree weather. Doors and windows were thrown wide open to bring in the fresh summer air, washing was hung out to dry - which it did in no time in the heat of the sunshine flooding the garden - and elderflower cordial provided the refreshment.This afternoon Rob and I took a trip to our local farm shop for the week?s provisions. Our seasonal hull included pak choi, peas, blueberries and what is likely to be the last of the strawberries. I also picked up a bunch of lily stems with a heady scent to adorn our living room.We?re very fortunate indeed, as our farm shop is blessed with the presence of a mobile butcher and fishmonger on a saturday.
