Thomas Ballard, 29, reportedly wanted to call a friend to share the news. However, instead of reaching that friend, Ballard unintentionally contacted a woman shortly after midnight saying, "I have killed them all." The concerned citizen, with Ballard's telephone number on caller ID, then called the authorities. When police arrived at his residence, Ballard explained to the troopers that he had killed the "bad guys" on his video game. Police searched the home to ensure that no one had been murdered at the scene, however, they found a 5-year-old warrant on Ballard from Baton Rouge for failure to appear on a possession of cocaine charge. According to a report from The News Star, Ballard was booked into the Richland Parish Detention Center and will be extradited to Baton Rouge. Read the full article
