Is There Hanky-Panky Behind Mandatory Vaccines? by: Phyllis Schlafly
2008-03-24 06:44:00 http://www.whale.to/vaccines/sc-halfly2.html Is There Hanky-Panky Behind Mandatory Vaccines? by: Phyllis SchlaflyAugust 25, 1999 After parents whose children had been severely damaged fromvaccines attended a couple of congressional hearings, we might havethought Bill Clinton's response would have been, "I feel your pain."Not on your life. The Clinton Administration instead floated plans togut the federal trust fund that compensates the families of childrenwho are injured or killed by reactions to vaccines.Surgeon General David Satcher told a House committee this monththat Health and Human Services Secretary Donna Shalala mightrecommend that a large portion of the National Vaccine InjuryCompensation Program's $1.4 billion trust be turned over to vaccineresearch. That would be a cruel betrayal of the parents who financedthis trust fund by a 75 cents per dose assessment on vaccines andwere promised compensation from it in exchange for virtuallyeliminating the pharmaceutical companie...

Phyllis Coates As Lois Lane
2007-12-04 03:58:00 I'm so excited today, as I just received two autographed pictures of Phyllis Coates as Lois Lane. Ms. Coates played the character in Superman and the Mole-Men (1951) and the first season of Adventures of Superman. She was technically Hollywood's second Lois Lane, as Noel Neill portrayed the character before and after her. I wrote Ms. Coates a few weeks ago, requesting an autographed picture for my little Lois. To my surprise, she sent two - one for me and one for my daughter! What a classy lady. I am definitely putting her on our Christmas card list this year! Here are scans of the photographs:In case you can't tell, the second one reads, "Much love to Little 'Lois Lane'." Isn't that awesome?! What a great collector's item. I'm so grateful, as is my Lois:

Simplicity is LIFE by guest blogger - Phyllis
2006-08-14 15:40:00 ::Simplicity is LIFE by guest blogger - Phyllis:: Of late, the newspapers have been marred with bad news ? terrorism, looming war, poor economic outlook, jobs at stake, natural disasters and human crime, the list goes on...During tough times, it is important that we keep our spirits up and stay positive. There will surely be light at the end of the tunnel. We have to learn to appreciate the little things in our life. A meal with family/ friends, a conversation with a loved one or watching a movie/ TV programme are such trivial matters, but, do we take pleasures in these events?Well, think about the recent Korean train incident, No one expected it to happen. It is so tragic that such a thing should happen and imagine the unresolved issues that each of the victims may have. A truce with someone whom a quarrel has occurred, an occasion that has yet to be celebrated as it has been procrastinated for too many times, etc...There are so many things that we have yet to do or experience.
