Pierogies
2007-05-28 17:36:00 I am a southern girl.My husband is from Pittsburgh.He has asked me for years to make him pierogies.I have tried.And failed.I had never had a pierogie,so I had no idea what one was supposed to taste like.Until a few ladies from Church made a batch.I am in heaven.Pierogies are my new favorite meal.The dough,potatoes and onion.Oh.My.Goodness. And they offered to teach me.Real, authentic pierogies.In the future I will post the recipe and pics of my mastering the recipe.But for now just drool over these,courtesy of my new friends.YUM!

2007-03-10 07:49:01 Ora è tutto passato. Mio papà se n?è andato e, sono sicuro, ora sta meglio.. ma questo non allevia i miei sensi di colpa piccoli e grandi. Mi sento in colpa per la lontananza forzata alla quale l?ho obbligato e per il conseguente distacco da lui. Parlo di distanza geografica, non insormontabile ma sufficiente per rendere più difficile vedersi con maggior frequenza. Razionalmente so bene che non c?erano alternative tuttavia, come sempre succede, è solo quando è troppo tardi che ti accorgi degli errori. Anzi, forse il fatto è che degli errori te ne accorgi benissimo anche mentre li compi ma pensi sempre di avere il tempo per rimediare..
