2008-03-31 00:16:00 BY ADAM RONIS I wasn't aware that Joe Torre was a fantasy player, but he must have read my print edition column today when I said if it was based on spring training performance, Juan Pierre deserved to be glued to the bench. Pierre has a $44 million contract and was awful in the spring, while Andre Ethier was phenomenal. Pierre will get time, so keep a close eye on this situation. Ethier is an excellent option in NL-only leagues and deep mixed leagues. Kemp, Ethier and Pierre could all split time in the corner outfield spots this season.
