Let us know if anyone knows for sure where this monster pike was caught.This is the new record in Canada. He caught it on Rainy Lake. Check this thing out. The last picture is unbelievable! This guy (in the photos below), was fishing and caught a 36" Pike - as he was reeling it in, a 56" Pike tried to eat it!!!!! He brought them both in on the same net. By the end of March it could be increased from the current $7.60 up to $8.10. There would be more increases until October when it would reach the peek of $9.65. In the end there would be a 27% increase by the end of the year. The new rate would allow a single person working full time to make more than the poverty line of $20,000 per year. It only makes sense that any full time employee would make enough to support themselves and not be forced in to finding additional income streams. This large increase does pose a concern for jobs in the province over the long term. Studies have shown that an increase in minimum wage has a negative impact on employment opportunities. Spike In Traffic For January 2008
2008-01-28 18:13:00 I have been enjoying a spike in traffic this month. I have been averaging 3 to 4 times the traffic each day for almost the entire month. It is interesting that it has all come from a few articles I wrote at the beginning of the month that have received a ton of search results traffic. Revenue is up as well, but it is interesting to note that it isn't exactly coming from these articles. The articles are in the Computer category with Google Adsense and the payout is not really that high for this category. I have pulled slightly more traffic for my Finance articles which were written almost a year ago and they are earning more than ever. While it seems logical that since the market has softened, sellers would entertain the idea, I was surprised by the extent of it, particularly with condos. For example, homes leased in Northville and Plymouth rose by 133% and 126% respectively, while the number of condos leased in Plymouth rose by 187% and the number of condos leased in Northville jumped by 218%...more than double! During my first six years in the business, I wrote only one lease. In 2007, I wrote three, all on properties I had listed for sale or for lease.
