The final episode offered plenty of adventure, however you feel about the outcome. The last mission called for teamwork, but first the three remaining pirates--Christa, Jay, and Ben--had to compete against one another.The initial clue was a cheat sheet, with Latin words and corresponding English. The pirates had to copy this information to use on the island. Christa, Jay, and Ben then swam ashore and raced along a narrow path, picking up clues and translating them as they went. On the second pass, Ben sabotaged Christa by cutting loose the rope bridge that he and Jay had used. But Christa found an alternate route. Ultimately, with Jay hot on his heels and Christa closing in, Ben located the treasure first.Upon their return to the Picton Castle, Ben became captain for the first time. Greek: It is getting to be the most entertaining part of each episode is the blink and you miss it cameo of LonelyGirl15, Jessica Rose as a bumbling legacy. She is the biggest name on the show (which really doesn?t say much) and she has combined maybe a total of thirty seconds of screen time. For those who blinked, this week she was the only one out of step during the invitation dance then awkwardly grinded on some dude. The rest of the episode was not as entertaining. Pirate Master: Well thanks to CBS forgetting to mention that they were moving the show to a different night and time I missed it this week but luckily I was able to catch this week?s episode on their Innertube broadband channel. Actually after viewing the episode luckily might not be the right work. This episode highlighted another major flaw in that both crews have the exact path to the treasure so whoever is behind really doesn?t even need to read the clue, they just have to follow the leader much like the black crew did this week when they couldn?t decipher the clue and just followed the red crew giving them a not well deserved win in the end. But at least we got our first whispers of mutiny this week even though there were no mutiny votes cast. I'm giving Pirate Master a shot. There's not much else to watch for now. It's on Thursdays on CBS in the Survivor spot.I found it a bit hard to follow and it's definitely not narrated as well as Amazing Race, Survivor, or Big Brother. In the beginning, I found myself longing for Julie Chen or Jeff Probst to explain things to me, but by the end I was into it.Basically, a bunch of wannabe pirates board a ship together and take on challenges that involve finding treasure. Week 1 they were split into two teams to find a treasure box. They were told they'd keep what they found.
