Pelos vistos, numa das últimas sessões de câmara (neste caso, da Covilhã), os ânimos andaram um pouco exaltados.Soube esse facto através do site da Rádio Cova da Beira (do Fundão), que no apartado sobre política tinha a seguinte notícia: Pelos vistos, Carlos Pinto (presidente da câmara municipal da Covilhã) e Miguel Nascimento (vereador da oposição e delegado regional do IPJ), trocaram argumentos durante a reunião pública. Segundo consta, o combate foi renhido, mas não levou nenhum dos dois opositores ao tapete. O Blog Cortes do Meio aponta o facto do projecto do Centro de Interpretação do Milho vir referenciado como um dos projectos do dossier apresentado pela Comurbeiras mas também como uma das promessas do PITER. Mas, não é apenas este projecto que vem referenciado em comum. O PITER apresenta uma série de projectos âncora, que segundo Jorge Patrão até estarão já aprovados tais como a requalificação do Sanatório, a requalificação da zona das Penhas, as telecabines da Torre, a reconversão da Fábrica Velha em Hotel e ainda alguns projectos complementares, como as pontes pedonais e a requalificação da judiaria na Covilhã, entre outros.Será esta uma tentativa de obter financiamentos de um lado e do outro para as mesmas obras ou será que a apresentação destes projectos pela Comurbeiras servem apenas para mostrar algum trabalho?

«Os poços de Loriga são uma das imagens de marca da Serra da Estrela e de Loriga, no entanto e como a imagem o demonstra existe pelo menos na Lagoa Serrano a acumulação de detritos que provêm de uma linha de água vinda precisamente das Pistas de Sky. Este é apenas um dos muitos resultados negativos da actividade humana no Maciço Central.O turista que visita a serra ou desfruta da neve não vê estes pormenores, o turista deixa lixo em qualquer lado . Felizmente nem todos se norteiam por esta conduta egoísta, comodista e narcisista.No entanto, a falta de Educação Ambiental de algumas pessoas deve ser responsabilizada! A Turistrela é a primeira responsável pela poluição do Maciço Central, por isso cabe a essa empresa limpar todo o lixo e consciencializar os visitantes.
