Not "Plastics." That's outdated. It's "Photo Calendars" now.
2008-10-22 18:51:00 There are, as I write this, only 5,529,600 seconds left until Christmas presents -- and you just used a few of those reading that sentence. And a few more now. And now. That sense of urgency you feel as those seconds tick away is you needing to begin thinking about shopping NOW, not 200 seconds from now, not even 20 seconds from now. The more time you spend NOT thinking about Christmas presents right now, the more likely it is you're going to screw it up when you finally rush out at 9:00 a.m. on December 23 to buy presents.I will save you valuable seconds by giving you a great idea for a present, right now, right here (I had to say it that way to avoid lawsuits from Jesus Jones. They're very litigious for a one-hit wonder.) The idea I've got for you is two wordsPhoto CalendarBrilliant, isn't it? The Secret of Profitable Electronics Recycling
2008-06-06 00:00:00 Most consumer electronic products are manufactured from various materials and assembled in complex ways which makes them difficult to disassemble economically. Unless products can be disassembled and the different streams of materials separated to a component level, the product cannot be recycled. For this reason, they are disposed of in landfills. Styrophobia.com Success Story
2008-05-15 00:00:00 73 billion Styrofoam cups/plates and 190 billion plastic containers and bottles are thrown away every year. Medical evidence suggests that chemicals, as benzene & styrene in EPS (expanded polystyrene) foam are carcinogenic and may leach into food and drink. EPS cups, containers and plastic bags, are a major source of pollution on our beaches - especially after a rainstorm. EPS breaks down into small pieces, often mistaken for food by marine animals, birds and fish.

Ban on plastics in kerala - Below 50 microns
2008-04-24 13:58:00 After the ban of plastics and plastic products which are below 30 micros, the Kerala government today banned the use of all varieties of plastic products and materials which are below 50 microns in thickness. The government issued a notification in this regard on the ban of plastics. The present ban is imposed after the earlier ban on 30 microns failed to give required results. As per the notification those who violates this would have to pay a fine of Rs One lakh, including an year of imprisonment. Different government authorities like the corporation and panchayat secretaries is authorized for the implementation of the ban. Still lots of shops used to sell their products in plastics bags. Recycle CO2 into DVDs and Get Rich
2008-04-24 00:00:00 Many of the things that we do increase the emissions of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Whenever we burn a fossil fuel to drive our car, heat our homes, make hot water, or provide the electricity, we inject it into the atmosphere. Other industrial activities, such as manufacturing cement, emit significant amounts as well. What if we could take the CO2 from a power plant, and sequester it into commonly used, and quite resilient, products? Carbon based plastics are already sold each year, so they are not a new product. However, using emissions to create those plastics is a new and exciting idea.

The Echo of Plastics
2008-04-17 06:41:00 It is no secret that up here on Deuce Project Station we love Polysics. One day Drexzor was doing a bit of research and noted that the Polysics song "Good" on 1st P is a cover of a track by a band called Plastics. Well, we had heard of Plastics before and actually had some of their music in our archives in .ogg form. Well, we gave Drexzor the job of converting the music to 320 kps mp3s for our listeners to enjoy. Thus this post. This is a great record. Most (if not all) of these tracks appeared on various singles and albums prior to appearing on Welcome Back. However, all of these tracks were re-recorded for this release. (Here is a discography with a lot of informative notes about the band)There is a lot to love about this recording. You can hear a bit of Talking Heads/Devo/B-52s in here. The jangly guitar riffs sometimes sound a lot like B-52s, but not at all derivative. 'Cards' reminds me a lot of the Talking Heads or maybe even Gang of Four with that mixture ofdance-floor rhyth...

2008-04-14 08:57:00 This material is taken from Bali Web Design Blog, http://design.ebali.web.id/bali-webdesignseo-blog-1.html. This is modern era, where people create and use new material. And the last invented material by human is plastics. Plastics can be made from LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) or HDPE (High Density Polyethylene). This HDPE is better than LDPE because it rsquo s chemical resistance, temperate resistance, and already approve by FDA, NSF and USDA to use it for food packaging. HDPE is lightweight, absorbs little moisture, and possesses a high tensile strength of 4550 psi. In addition to these properties, HDPE is also very strong, and can take a good deal of impact before it becomes weakened. To create these plastics, industry is preferred to use HDPE Granules than HDPE Regrind, because HDPE Granules is refined from HDPE Regrind, so in many cases, it is better. HDPE Granules has ldquo higher grade rdquo compared to HDPE regrind, which is cleaner, contain less contamination,...

Plastics and us!
2008-04-09 15:41:00 Plastics, like diamonds, are forever. Plastic floating in the ocean is the number one source of pollution of the world ocean. 80% of marine debris comes from land and 20% from boats. The problem is many marine birds, turtles and fish confuse floating plastic particles with food. Plastic does not biodegrade, it photo-degrades, or slowly breaks down into smaller and smaller pieces, but still remains a polymer. And plastic has been proven to absorb toxins up to one million times background levels in ambient seawater, making the floating plastic a poison pill. Because of their buoyancy and persistance, most of the debris that either entangles sea creatures or found in their stomachs, is made of plastic.
