I consider myself to be like most American citizens. Contrary to what the national news media portrays, I believe that most Americans families, while flawed, still retain some core values. The proposal of $75 billion foreclosure crisis plan by Barack Obama drew mixed remarks from Arizona politicians. Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard, a Democrat, said that Obama’s housing prescription was solid and predicted Arizona will be one of the greatest beneficiaries. He added that Arizona is desperately in need of the kind of lifeline that the president threw out today. Most of the communities in Arizona are in crisis because of large numbers of vacant houses. Goddard said on Wednesday after Obama’s speech in Mesa that most of the home prices have gone down. Rep. Harry Mitchell, D-Ariz., said that he was honored by Obama chose his congressional district to announce the plan.
