Are Amerindians Related to Polynesians?
2008-11-28 07:40:00
Regarding the post on the Moriori, a commenter asks if any of the Amerindians, in particular the South American Amerindians, are related to Polynesians. They are not.All of the Amerindians go back to the area where Mongolia, Russia and China all come together - the Altai Mountains east to Lake Baikal. Another smaller group comes from the area around the mouth of the Amur River where China, Russia and North Korea meet.Click to enlarge. The Lower Amur region of Russia can be seen to the left of Sakhalin Island. On this map, tribes residing in the Lower Amur region include the Negidal, the Ulchi, the Nivkhi, the Oroch, the Udeghe and the Nanai.Click to enlarge. There is no evidence that South American Amerindians, or any Amerindians, are primarily Polynesian. As you can see in this chart, Pacific Islanders and Amerindians are on completely different ends of the evolutionary spectrum. Amerindians are closer to NE Asians (Japanese, Koreans and Northern Chinese) and Caucasians than they a...
Crime Rates For Hispanics, Polynesians and Amerindians
2008-11-27 11:18:00
Updated November 29:In the comments section, an anonymous commenter notes: Hispanics, Amerindians, and Polynesians are all Asians or have Asiatic roots (and thus presumably lower testosterone) and still their crime rate is higher than Whites...this suggests that there is a social element to crime rates as well, probably related to the status of these groups as 'persecuted minorities.' I respond:I have already discussed this in some of my other posts. It is true that elevated rates of crime among Asian-derived groups are somewhat mysterious. However, no one knows what the testosterone levels of any of these groups are, nor do we have much information about personality styles, although Richard Lynn claims that numerous studies show that Amerindians have elevated rates of sociopathy. However, they all have relatively low IQ's (Hispanics = 92*, Amerindians = 90*, Polynesians = 89*) and in modern industrial capitalism, lower-IQ groups resort to mass crime, probably due to failure to ach...
The Moriori and the Dangers of Pacifism
2008-11-27 11:10:00
Updated November 28:The saga of Moriori is instructive. The Maori have long been known as ferocious headhunters and cannibals who had one of the cruelest and evillest cultures on Earth. The Moiriori seem to be a Maori split dating back to about 1500 or so. They left New Zealand and colonized the Chatham Islands. The Chatham Islands are small, very cold and isolated, and there is not a lot of food other than from the sea.Moiriori legend has it that initially, widespread tribal warfare, headhunting and cannibalism was practiced as the normative cruel Maori culture. On such a small island, this savagery was disastrous, and soon the population plummeted to near extinction. A leader arose among the Moiriori, Nunuku-whenua, who preached a new doctrine of extreme pacifism, Nunuku's Law. Nunuku's Law was strictly adhered to 300 years.Fighting was allowed between males, but it had to be conducted with each armed with a stick the width of a finger. At the first sign of blood, the duel was ca...
The Origin of the Amerindians
2008-10-18 14:10:00
The latest death toll figures from Hurricane Katrina can be seen on this website here. The famous Russian neo-Nazi video is on this blog here.Updated October 18. I am republishing this post because I added a lot of new photos and text. Enjoy. As we noted in an earlier post, the view is converging that Amerindians can be traced back to the Altai Mountains in Southwest Siberia where China, Mongolia and Russia all come together.Yet another study found that of all Asians, the Turkic-speaking tribes of the Sayan Mountains (west of the Altai Mountains and north of northwestern Mongolia) are the closest to the Amerindians. This group includes the Shor, the Tofalar, the Altai, the Khakass, the Soyots and the Tuva. The Mongolic-speaking Buryats are also included. The Altai live in the Sayan Uplands. The Soyots and the Buryats are from the Eastern Sayan Mountains. The Shor and the Khakass are from the northwest slopes of the Sayans. The Tofalar are from the northern slopes of the Eastern Sayans...
Are SE Asians Australoids?
2008-07-11 10:12:00
The latest death toll figures from Hurricane Katrina can be seen on this website here. The famous Russian neo-Nazi video is on this blog here.Updated July 12. I am republishing this post, published earlier, because I added some new photos and text to it.We have already dealt with this issue previously on this blog, but there is need to continuously revisit old issues that do not seem to be sinking in very well after we do our revisionist and rectification work here. For instance, I do not really care about whether or not SE Asians are part-Australoid, but among amateur anthropologists, the notion is much in vogue. Furthermore, it is regarded as given by Chinese, which unfortunately includes Southern Chinese, who by this definition, would also be part-Australoid.This issue needs to be dealt with because it is such a widespread myth, particularly among some of our best young minds out there in popular culture. Among anthropologists, the only folks saying that SE Asians are part-Austral...
On Immigration
2008-06-14 05:19:00
Updated June 18:We have quite a few folks coming to this blog who are opposed to immigration. To be honest, almost everyone in the US who is opposed to immigration is White, and to some extent, it's associated with White nationalism. There are also anti-immigrant sites out there like Vdare, but they are almost always on the crazy end of the spectrum. Vdare is not White nationalist, but they do want to end all immigration altogether. On the far moderate end of White nationalism, we have American Renaissance. I do like to hang out there because it's nice to hear real, honest talk on race for once.In general, the White nationalists on Amren want to end non-White immigration altogether.I'd like to point out that this is a crazy and extremist point of view. Furthermore, Whites are only 65% of the US in 2006 according to this chart, and possibly less. 2% of the US is Muslim, and the overwhelming majority are not Europeans. Another .5% of the population are Indian-Americans. 1% of the po...
Update to Races of Man Post
2008-02-02 21:05:00
The latest death toll figures from Hurricane Katrina can be seen on this website here. The famous Russian neo-Nazi video is on this blog here.Updated February 6, 2008:My earlier piece, The Major and Minor Races of Mankind, has been given a major update. The previous incarnation was:3 Macro RacesCaucasian (Caucasoid)Asian (Mongoloid)African (Negroid)I left the three macro races intact. I have debated whether or not to include new macro races but I haven't been able to come up with anything. The main problem is that all of the potential splits - Kalash, Pacific Islander, Papuan, Amerindian and Aborigine are all part of the macro races. The Kalash are part of the Caucasian race and the rest are all indisputably Asians (yes, even Aborigines).Previous version:6 Major RacesNortheast AsianSoutheast AsianPapuanAborigineCaucasianAf-ricanRevised version:9 Major RacesNortheast AsianSoutheast AsianPapuanAborigineCaucasianAf-ricanKalashPacific IslanderAmerindianThe result looks something like thi...
There Be Cannibals!
2007-11-28 11:43:00
Updated November 29:My understanding of cannibalism is not good. It's well-known that starving people in just about any society will eat their own dead. Clearly, the Anasazi Indians of Arizona and New Mexico, ancestors of today's Navajo and Hopi, engaged in cannibalism during the 1300's. I don't care what the Indians say. Indian tribes are notorious liars when it comes to denying anything that makes them look bad.The cannibals and head-hunters of New Guinea are well-known, and some were said to continue to engage in the practice until the mid-1960's. Cannibalism was well-known in other parts of the world, especially Polynesia and Fiji. It was legendary in New Guinea and widely practiced in Australia too.The cannibals of the Congo below were not the only ones in Africa, just some of the more notorious. There were also cannibals in the Brazilian Amazon and a few in North America here and there. But Polynesia, especially New Zealand, had some of the worst cannibals of all. A Maori ...
Aborigine Street Gangs in Australia
2007-11-22 09:03:00
No Aborigine gangs in Australia? In a recent comments thread on this blog, two commenters, one a resident of Australia and another who just spent three months there, argued that there were no Aborigine gangs in Australia. However, I had this photo in my files from a recent web story by an Australian paper about an Aborigine gang in the far north of Australia. I forget the name of the gang now. They were warring with another street gang in a small Aborigine settlement and this war had left a number dead and injured, and was destroying the town.Maybe someone can find the link for me, but I'm too tired right now. Anyway, though Aborigine street gangs in Australia are apparently rare, it looks like they do exist.I like that pic too. It reaches out and grabs you, huh?On a side-note, there are few full-blooded Aborigines left - most have varying degrees of White in them. Many, including Afrocentrists, think Aborigines are related to African Blacks. They do look like them. But no race on Ea...
James Flynn on 2007 Blacks vs 1957 Whites
2007-11-04 22:03:00
The latest death toll figures from Hurricane Katrina can be seen on this website here. The hard to find Russian neo-Nazi beheading video taking the net by storm is on this blog here.Note: Updated November 15. Since it was originally published on November 4, this piece has received a massive update, despite Blogger continuously inserting garbage code in attempts to thwart me. If you blog with Blogger and know HTML, please stay in the HTML processor (edit HTML window) and avoid the HTML preprocessor (compose window).Warning - this post is both lengthy and highly complex. I have tried to make it as understandable as possible, as this blog is geared towards the general reader, but some stuff is just inherently complex. If you think you can't handle it, you might just want to bail out now; life is difficult enough as it is without me donating a frustrating reading and thinking experience to you.If you want to sally forth, anyway, go ahead. Meantime, here is a good introduction by James ...
Early Polynesians Sailed Vast Distances-Photos
2007-09-28 09:00:00
In the 1900s early stone woodworking tools were found on several islands in the Tuamotu Archipelago, located southeast of Tahiti in eastern French Polynesia. (See pictures of Polynesian life.)The tools were recently analyzed and may prove that Tahitians and Hawaiians traded with each other as early as a thousand years ago.The archipelago makes up the world's largest chain of atolls?including the Rangiroa Atoll shown here?spanning a breadth of the Pacific Ocean that's about the size of Western Europe.Atolls, found mostly in the Pacific and Indian oceans, are circular coral reef islands that enclose a shallow lagoon.Early Polynesians traveled thousands of miles - from Hawaii to Tahiti - for trade and exploration, suggests a new study of woodworking tools. Early Polynesians were skillful sailors who traveled thousands of miles for trade and exploration, suggests a new analysis of stone woodworking tools like the one above. Australian researchers studied 19 of the tools, called adzes...
